RE: IPL 2022 CSK vs MI Preview - No glorious homecoming for Mumbai

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

MI is already out of tournament so they have nothing to lose but let see what changes they make. Pollard is not in form but still able to play in team. Brevis was good at no 3 so maybe get chances but look like they will not make changes there. CSK now looks back in form and great to see give bowling to Moeen Ali which is good sign which they didn't do before. CSK likely to win match.

I thought Brevis was out of his depth at number 3. He played a couple of cameos but you need something more from your number 3 especially when your openers are in poor form. Without Sky the middle order looks weak. They need a better balance in their side, strengthen the middle order and their bowling. Lots of work for MI to do post-season if they want to get back to winning

Yes that's a problem with MI and since SKY injured , it's same problem comes again. What i want to say is that at least he play short but aggressive innings compared to Pollard as for finisher roll David is perfect. Just team announced as Stubbs got his maiden cap as Pollard not i team which is good decision.

I think a lot of sides will start experimenting now and giving some young players a chance. Still difficult to imagine players like Brevis and Stubbs being ready to make a major impact in 2023. They are long term investments

Yes they are still young and didn't play much cricket. i don't think MI will stay with them in next season unless they make remarkable impact in international cricket.
