Cummins's tumultuous batting gave Mumbai a third consective loss of the season

Hello, good afternoon and welcome to my page once again. it was wonderful match yesterday between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL where Kolkata Knight Riders won it with 4 overs spares and thanks to cummins's stunning performance of bat so let discuss it more in details.

Kolkata won the toss and chose to bowl first, like all the teams did so far in this year of the tournament. Pitch was so nice for fast bowler with good pace and bounce whose advantage took by Umesh Yadav with wicket of Rohit Sharma whose record is great against them. Where batsman getting struggle, Debutant Dewald Brevis scoring runs which was wonderful thing.

Mumbai did slow start and they accelerate their innings after catch drop of Tilak Varma. But it was too late as their star batsman Pollard only got 5 balls to play where he scored 22 runs. Suryakumar Yadav played good knock with Tilak Varma with partnership of 83 runs and took their score to 161-4 at the end of the inning.

Kolkata also did slow start as they keep loosing wickets on regular intervals where Mumbai kept save Bumrah's over for Russell. Once stage they were 83-4 in 12 overs where it looks like Mumbai is ahead as there were no dew and Mumbai did well bowl. Once Rusell out on 101 score it looks like that Mumbai will definitely win this one but then came Cummins and change whole match.

Cummins came to bat in 14th over(13.1) and started to hit sixes where everyone shocked to saw his wonderful knock altough he did it beofre too and he loves to bat against Mumbai. He scored his fifity in just 14 balls and its now joined record of fastest fifty in history of IPL with KL Rahul. He finised match in 16 overs which no one has thought becasue its bowler's friendly pitch. Venktesh Iyer also played good support role through out the inning and scored 50.

Overall it was nice game though it finished early. Mumbai saved Bumrah over for death but not able to help it as Cummins was game changer of the match and also awarded as Man of the Match. That's it from today and stay tuned for next post.
