Hello, good evening and welcome to my page once again, today I would like to discuss the technologies introduced which some stage helpful but at some stages still need to improve because if introduced then must need to use in a proper way so delaying, let's start it.
As cricket lovers know that before only technologies use for running out where get proper and accurate results because it's a short moment that need to see frame by frame in slow motion later some other technologies comes which were also very useful but still not used properly way so it have still not accurate result comes.
The umpire called it a little sticky decision where it is most of the time wrong because when the third umpire is not sure or can see not clearly then go with the umpire decision. we can understand if caught behind call or sleep catch may see but incident happens near the boundary, which the umpire could not see then why need a soft signal there because it's like a guessing game for them according to the reaction of the fielder.
During LBW too sometimes Umpire calls the decision, not in favor of the right decision but it's still better as the inside edge and pitch outside leg decision improved still doubt about height and distance from batsman to stumps but still get a better result than before so can say it's improved there.
Ultra Edge and hot spot technologies use but sometimes they also miss the edge or catch something else even no edge it also improved a lot in decision making so it's good technology. Most of the time batsmen edge but do not walk so if the umpire does not give out and the team has DRS then they can review and ask the umpire to change the decision which is sometimes a game-changing call as we have seen many times.
It looks like umpires have less work and thus getting less important due to technologies introduced because they also do not go for the third umpire even for simple calls for run out where looks clear out or not out because they do not want to see wrong and use their hand for the third umpire. No ball now also check by the third umpire when bowlers bowl each delivery so they have now less burden.
For stumps also added LED lights so when a stumping out or run out call comes it will indicate when bails lift up so get to know if is it out or not which is a good thing. Day by day, technologies are doing good work but sometimes it not work too so let's hope in the future they also look at some point like this too.
