Hola amigos, ya estamos en septiembre y en menos de lo que pensamos tendremos diciembre a un paso, esta semana me he sentido ansiosa porque eso ocurra. Como muchas personas diciembre es mi mes favorito del año, es como si al llegar, la mentalidad de las personas se pusiera en modo felicidad, lo único que importa es disfrutar y estar con la familia.
Pues bien, por eso me he sentido ansiosa estos días, hace 3 años que no viajo a casa de mis padres en Navidad y desde que empezó el 2022, mi marido y yo nos hemos propuesto pasar todo el mes de diciembre con mis padres, para ello nos hemos marcado unos objetivos. El primero fue que mi esposo que siempre tiene vacaciones en septiembre para este año las trasladó a fin de año.

Ahora hemos estado haciendo todas las reparaciones que requiere nuestro auto, este ha sido nuestro mayor proyecto durante el año.
Lo único que quiero y en lo que voy a poner todo mi empeño en estos meses que quedan es en trabajar para conseguir las metas que nos hemos propuesto y así poder disfrutar con mi familia estas navidades. Tengo muchas ganas de volver a preparar hallacas con mi mamá, los últimos años que he viajado han sido para fin de año y mi mamá prepara este plato típico de mi país el 22 de diciembre, así que cuando llego solo puedo comer las que me tiene guardadas.
We already have 9 months preparing this trip, in the month of April we were able to buy a van because we do not want to travel by public transport again as it is a long trip of more than 12 hours and we always arrive exhausted, also it is more comfortable for the children and we can stop at any tourist site and rest if necessary. Now we have been doing all the repairs that our car requires, this has been our biggest project during the year.
The only thing I want and what I will put all my efforts in these remaining months is to work to achieve the goals we have set and so I can enjoy with my family this Christmas. I really want to prepare hallacas with my mom again, the last years that I have traveled have been for the end of the year and my mom prepares this typical dish of my country on December 22, so when she arrives I will only be able to eat the ones she has saved for me.
Cada vez que estoy en casa (la de mis padres, creo que nunca deja de ser nuestra), me siento feliz y en paz, estoy deseando que llegue diciembre para estar con mi madre, mi padre y mis hermanos. Quiero ver a mis sobrinos, a mis nonos (abuelos). En definitiva, a toda la familia.
Mi familia suele reunirse en torno a la mesa para la cena de Navidad y Año Nuevo, dejando siempre en la cabecera a mi nono que tiene 90 años y a mi nona de 85, este año no quiero perderme esos momentos, mis nonos son personas muy fuertes pero ya están en una edad avanzada en la que debemos atesorar los momentos que pasamos con ellos.
