The EPL Mid-Week/AFCON Preview
There were 4 matches scheduled for the mid-week but one was called off. Brighton versus Chelsea was the game played on Tuesday as the Blues lost grip of the title race. The match ended 1-1 with a goal at the piece and everything seems to be going wrong at Stamford Bridge and I think Chelsea players need rest. The league is out of their reach, the top 4 spots, are guaranteed for them.
Wednesday matches were full of goals. Leicester City gave us what the EPL is like. Taking lead twice and losing out on the final stage as 2 goals were scored in just 2 intervals minutes to see Hotspur moved into the top 4. Antonio Conte is still winning matches and keeping good records in England.
Brentford versus Manchester United was one-way traffic for the Reds Devil as they dominated possessions and won they won convincingly with 3-1 win.
Leaving the English Premier League, the Africa Cup of Nations was still in action as my dearest country has qualified to the round of 16 with perfect records, winning all the matches in their group. So far, fee countries have qualified already and they are; Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Guinea, Nigeria, and Egypt. The rest will join as they are 4 matches to look out for today.
Football is giving the excitement and we are loving it.
EPL is giving us a moment of madness and the Africa Cup Of Nation is in the mic to relieve pressure. Loving every moment as the magical things happen in the world of football.
