Hello Hivers friends,
as anticipated in the post a few days ago, I would like to go back to the origins... or almost.
As you can already see from the cover, I'm going back to talking about basketball and I'm doing it with a small editorial that will provide a periodic overview (I hope every 2/3 days) of what happened in and outside of the competitions, trying to also introduce some small curiosities

NBA

The prestigious NBA Finals are being played in the major stars and stripes championship which will decide the winning team of the Ring for this year.

The Boston Celtics of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and the Dallas Mavericks of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving clash.

In the regular season, the Boston Celtics ranked first in the Eastern Conference, while the Dallas Mavericks ranked fifth in the Western Conference.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals was played on Monday night where Boston won again against Dallas 105 to 98, thus taking a 2-0 lead in the series.
The last three teams have managed to overturn a 2-0 deficit in the final and then win the ring

Boston Celtics (1969)

In 1969, the Boston Celtics of Bill Russell and his teammates managed to overturn all the predictions by winning Game 7 on the pitch of the Los Angeles Lakers of Wilt Chamberlain and **Jerry West **

Portland Trail Blazers (1977)

In 1977 Portland participated in the NBA playoffs for the first time and found itself down 2-0 against **Julius Erving's Philadelphia 76ers. Bill Walton and Maurice Lucas, key players of that year's Blazers, turned the series around and won the title.

Miami Heat (2006)

2006 instead sees Dallas as the protagonist in the role of the comebacks.
In fact, that year the Heat of Dwane Wade, after being down 2-0 against the Mavs of Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry, tied the series and they won game 6, winning the title 4-2.
That year Jason Terry had the Larry O'brien Trophy tattooed on his bicep even before winning the title, thus going down in history as one of basketball's greatest epic fails.

WNBA

In the WNBA, thanks to the direct match in favor, Liberty overtakes Connecticut in the lead of the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 11 games won and 2 lost, compared to 10 wins and 1 defeat of Connecticut. Atlanta is stable in third place with 5 wins and 5 losses, Chicago immediately follows with a difference of 1 defeat (4-6), Fever in fifth place with a record of 3-10, Mystics close the standings at 1-12 after tonight's win against Atlanta.

In the Western Conference, however, Lynx wins the direct clash with Storm and reaches the top of the rankings, Mercury overtakes Las Vegas in third place, in fifth place we find Sparks with 4 wins and 8 defeats. Wings closes the ranking with 3 wins and 7 defeats.

LBA (IT)

The championship final is taking place in the major Italian championship between Virtus Segafredo Bologna and EA7 Milano.

After losing game 1, Bologna won game 2 with a score of 72-64 and tied the series thanks to 21 points from Shengalia and good defensive intensity.

Game 3 was played yesterday evening in Milan which saw the home team triumph thanks to 21 points from Nikola Mirotic, 15 points from Shavon Shields, 12 points from Diego Flaccadori and 12 points by Shabazz Napier.
For Bologna good performance for Jordan Mickey, author of 17 points, Gabriel Lundberg and the usual Tornike Shengalia who scored 11 points for one and the former NBA Marco Belinelli with 10 points scored.

THE BASKETBALL POST

Salve amici Hivers,
come anticipato nel post di qualche giorno fa, vorrei tornare alle origini...o quasi.
Come vedete già dalla copertina, torno a trattare di pallacanestro e lo faccio con un piccolo editoriale che farà una panoramica periodica (spero ogni 2/3 giorni) di ciò che è successo nelle gare e fuori, cercando di introdurre anche qualche piccola curiosità

NBA

Nel maggiore campionato a stelle e strisce si stanno disputando le prestigiose NBA Finals che decreteranno la squadra vincitrice dell'Anello per quest'anno.

Si scontrano i Boston Celtics di Jayson Tatum e Jaylen Brown e i Dallas Mavericks di Luka Doncic e Kyrie Irving.

Nella stagione regolare i Boston Celtics si sono classificati come primi nella Eastern Conference, mentre i Dallas Mavericks si sono classificati quinti nella Western Conference.

Nella notte di Luendì si è disputata Gara 2 delle Finals NBA dove Boston a vinto nuovamente contro Dallas 105 a 98, portandosi così in vantaggio 2-0 nella serie.
Le ultime squadre riuscite nell'impresa di ribaltare un 2-0 in finale e poi vincere l'anello sono state 3

Nella WNBA, grazie allo scontro diretto a favore, Liberty sorpassa Connecticut nella guida della classifica della Eastern Conference con un record di 11 gare vinte e 2 perse, contro le 10 vinte e 1 sconfitta di Connecticut. Atlanta è stabile al terzo posto con 5 vittorie e 5 sconfitte, Chicago segue subito ad una sconfitta differenza (4-6), Fever in quinta posizione con un record di 3-10, Mystics chiude la classifica a 1-12 dopo la vittoria di questa notte contro Atlanta.

Ieri sera si è giocata invece gara 3 a Milano che ha visto trionfare i padroni di casa grazie ai 21 punti di Nikola Mirotic, 15 punti di Shavon Shields, 12 punti di Diego Flaccadori e 12 punti di Shabazz Napier.
Per Bologna buona prestazione per Jordan Mickey, autore di 17 punti, di Gabriel Lundberg e del solito Tornike Shengalia che hanno messo a segno 11 punti per uno e l'ex NBA Marco Belinelli con 10 punti messi a referto.

In questo modo Milano si porta avanti nella serie per 2-1.
