Hello Hivers friends,
as anticipated in the post a few days ago, I would like to go back to the origins... or almost.
As you can already see from the cover, I'm going back to talking about basketball and I'm doing it with a small editorial that will provide a periodic overview (I hope every 2/3 days) of what happened in and outside of the competitions, trying to also introduce some small curiosities

NBA

The prestigious NBA Finals are being played in the major stars and stripes championship which will decide the winning team of the Ring for this year.

The Boston Celtics of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and the Dallas Mavericks of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving clash.

In the regular season, the Boston Celtics ranked first in the Eastern Conference, while the Dallas Mavericks ranked fifth in the Western Conference.

Thursday night the two teams faced each other in Game 3 for the first time in Dallas and Boston managed to get the upper hand once again by beating the Mavs 106 to 99 thanks to 31 points from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown's 30 points. Dallas's 35 points from Kyrie Irving and 27 points from Luka Doncic were not enough to get the better of the Celtics.

This night, however, Game 4 was played in which Dallas finally managed to impose its game and beat Boston 122 to 84. The usual Luka Doncic author of 29 points led the his Mavs to victory.

Now Dallas could make history as the only team to come back from a 3-0 deficit.
No one has ever achieved this feat in the history of the NBA.
An almost impossible task, but in sport nothing is ever written.

WNBA

In the WNBA, Connecticut catches Liberty at the top of the league with 11 wins. Atlanta is stable in third place with 5 wins and 6 losses, Chicago follows in fourth place with 4 wins and 8 losses together with Fever with 4 wins and 10 losses. Mystics closes the ranking, bringing their victories to 2 after the night's match against Chicago.

In the Western Conference however Lynx confirms the lead of the standings with 10 wins and 3 defeats. Immediately after, with a difference victory we find Storm (9-4). With a 3 win difference we find together Las Vegas (6-5) and Mercury (6-7). In fifth position Sparks with 4 wins and 9 losses. Last Wings with 3 wins and 8 losses.

LBA (IT)

In the major Italian championship, the championship final between Virtus Segafredo Bologna and EA7 Milano concluded on Thursday evening.

With a 2-1 lead, Milan Game 4 was played in which Bologna could equalize the series and extend their hopes of victory with another match.

Milan on the other hand won 85-73, thus winning this year's Scudetto final.
Game decided in the second and third quarter when Milan extended up to +16 at the end of the third quarter.
Of note are the 30 points and 12 rebounds of former NBA star Nikola Mirotic for Milan and the 21 points of Isaia Cordinier for Bologna.

THE BASKETBALL POST

Salve amici Hivers,
come anticipato nel post di qualche giorno fa, vorrei tornare alle origini...o quasi.
Come vedete già dalla copertina, torno a trattare di pallacanestro e lo faccio con un piccolo editoriale che farà una panoramica periodica (spero ogni 2/3 giorni) di ciò che è successo nelle gare e fuori, cercando di introdurre anche qualche piccola curiosità

NBA (🇺🇸)

Nel maggiore campionato a stelle e strisce si stanno disputando le prestigiose NBA Finals che decreteranno la squadra vincitrice dell'Anello per quest'anno.

Si scontrano i Boston Celtics di Jayson Tatum e Jaylen Brown e i Dallas Mavericks di Luka Doncic e Kyrie Irving.

Nella stagione regolare i Boston Celtics si sono classificati come primi nella Eastern Conference, mentre i Dallas Mavericks si sono classificati quinti nella Western Conference.

Giovedì notte le due squadre si sono affrontate in Gara 3 per la prima volta a Dallas e Boston è riuscita ad avere la meglio ancora una volta battendo i Mavs 106 a 99 grazie ai 31 punti di Jayson Tatum e i 30 punti di Jaylen Brown. Non sono bastati a Dallas i 35 punti di Kyrie Irving e i 27 punti di Luka Doncic per avere la meglio sui Celtics.

Questa notte invece si è giocata Gara 4 in cui Dallas è riuscita finalmente ad imporre il suo gioco e a battere Boston per 122 a 84. Il solito Luka Doncic autore di 29 punti ha trascinato i suoi Mavs alla vittoria.

Ora Dallas potrebbe entrare nella storia come l'unica squadra che rimonta da un 3-0.
Nessuno finora è mai riuscito nell'impresa nella storia della NBA.
Impresa quasi impossibile, ma nello sport nulla è mai scritto.

WNBA (🇺🇸)

Nella WNBA, Connecticut aggancia Liberty in testa alla classifica con 11 vittorie. Atlanta è stabile al terzo posto con 5 vittorie e 6 sconfitte, Chicago segue al quarto posto con 4 vittorie e 8 sconfitte insieme a Fever con 4 vittorie e 10 sconfitte. Chiude la classifica Mystics che porta a 2 le vittorie dopo la gara della notte contro Chicago.

Nella Western Conference invece Lynx conferma la testa della classifica portandosi a 10 vittorie e 3 sconfitte. Subito dopo, ad una vittoria di differenza troviamo Storm (9-4). A 3 vittorie di differenza troviamo insieme Las Vegas (6-5) e Mercury (6-7). In quinta posizione Sparks con 4 vittorie e 9 sconfitte. Ultima Wings con 3 vittorie e 8 sconfitte.

LBA (🇮🇹)

Nel maggiore campionato italiano si è conclusa giovedì sera la finale scudetto tra Virtus Segafredo Bologna e EA7 Milano.

In vantaggio di 2-1 si è giocata a Milano Gara 4 in cui Bologna poteva pareggiare la serie e allungare le speranze di vittoria con un'altra partita.

Milano invece si è imposta 85-73 vincendo così la finale scudetto di quest'anno.
Partita decisa nel secondo e nel terzo quarto quando Milano ha allungato fino al +16 di fine terzo periodo.
Da segnalare i 30 punti e 12 rimbalzi dell'ex stella NBA Nikola Mirotic per Milano e i 21 punti di Isaia Cordinier per Bologna.
