New Year's morning began slower than usual, with the decision to skip my usual early run in favor of a relaxed start to the day. By the afternoon, however, the urge to move and shake off the holiday haze became too strong to ignore. I laced up my running shoes and headed out for a jog, the crisp air invigorating and the streets quieter than usual, as if the world was still waking up from its celebrations.
