The day began in the quiet stillness of early morning, with a run in the dark that felt both invigorating and meditative. The streets were nearly deserted. With Christmas behind us, I wanted to stay ahead of the post-holiday rush, so I made a quick trip to the grocery store right after the run. As the day unfolded, I felt the need to bookend it with another run, this time under the fading light of dusk.
