Fascinating Faces
I am no a good photographer. 20 photos I keep 2 or 3.
I am try to this world with the eyes of my soul. My camera helps.
I embark on a study of Faces. I am no good at capturing emotion, but so far...
This was my time living in Ukraine a few years ago. I visit Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa and Lviv the first time. I will be honest on this photo. I see this beautiful lady's "buns"...my eyes then travel to the paintings behind. When she look back at me, her friend remain oblivious, at that moment the lines of vision (from the eyes of the male, to the eyes of the female, directing the vision/energy to me) plus the perfect backdrop from the paintings made this moment in Ukraine, Odessa, carved onto my soul. I hope these two are safe, staying out of trouble, and healthy.
If someday you find this, i want you to know, your people are beautiful, strong, hardworking, hospitable, misunderstood. You are genuine #Ukraine people. Thank you for show me what life is from your part of the world!
This was a difficult exposure. I was doing babysit work for a friend who has a child of age 3. I watch him eat. He was killing his face with pasta and sausage. Why give 3 year old a pasta? Three year olds need baby food!!!! No pasta! No icecream! Baby food!!!!
I watch this child eat. I then scare him with a "BOO!"...so he doesn't choke on food. It behooves you to think the many exposures it took to achieve the correct frame...which is this that you see...
...by the way he did finish his pasta!
This was achieved during my recent journey to Marrakech. I walk around the back alleys of the city and find an old lady falling asleep by the side road. Her hand was stretch out and she was ask for help.
I stand and watch her sleep, awake, dreaming, hoping, asking, seeking. Her closed eyes and her energy spoke to me. I saw the story on her face. I could feel the emotion coming off from her. So i knelt down close, silent like melting butter; I took one exposure. Do you feel what i feel?
From one world to the next. One from country to the next. People have faces. I find faces always hold a secret. Its one thing we all share. No matter how we hide, how we lie, how we bury what's deep inside...it will always show on the faces. This one thing i see, re-occurring on all people's faces...shows me there is good in all of us, instilled within our souls.
Sometimes i see this instilled goodness from people's eyes. Sometimes i see it on their lips. Sometimes on their faces. But it's the same instilled goodness...virtue...and this makes us all one family.
I am not sure if i explain correct. We share something divine in us. On my side it is no less than on your side. Your divine is no more than my divine. We are equal divine. Faces show me the divine.
I end this blog with a face of contentment, of duty to family, of happiness, of purpose, of hardship and acceptance, of respect for life, and humilty.
Thank you Mister Singhe!

Thank you!!
You can see so much of a person's personality in their face. You have chosen some very interesting faces, and you capture them well. I enjoyed the photo of the baby most, using his full body language to express himself. Not quite scared of you, but definitely alarmed as if he is shocked you would interrupt his meal haha Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for you time!
