Adventurous Market Day?

In every gain of pain, there's a price to pay, and that price was paid the moment I made a move toward it. Before going to bed two days ago (Saturday), I got to know there would be a market on Sunday, and I just couldn't wait to explore everything in the small town.

So, my mind was already prepared for the adventure, and my brain registered immediately in such a way that it woke me up before dawn, which was crazy, lol. First, I did a few morning exercises in the vast land of nature that surrounded me. By the time I finished the exercise, the sun was already out, and an intense cold came alongside it, which made me continue the exercise until I was sure getting cold was out of the picture.

By then, the sun was out with great intensity, though the cold weather still clung around the air. My devices needed to be charged, so I showered a little to wash off the sweat in my body before heading out to charge my phone a long distance away from home.

The walk went well, though I had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the shop owner to put on the generator to be sure my phone was charging before I left. The moment I was sure my phone and other devices were charging, I took a walk back home.

On getting home, I went out to the river for laundry, came back, and went out to fetch water from another long distance where there was a borehole. And, I went out to get bottled water too before settling in and taking care of the environment.

After that, I gathered firewood, cooked, and cleaned everything before having a bath. Then, I settled in(rested) for a while, calculating how long it'd take to charge my phone and other devices before heading out to pick them up and also begin the great adventure!

The moment I got to where my devices were at, I got them all packed, paid, and began a walk to the market arena. The first place that welcomed me was the yam market where I had to get yam at a good haggled price.

I packed the yam and went back to the place I charged and kept it there after speaking to the shop owner. I know carrying it around will be strenuous and would cut my adventure moment short, and I didn't want that.

When I left the shop, I took another route where I saw more and more of the goods around. I bought a few things which are not that heavy and walked on. There was so much to see, a lot to feast my eyes on. I even had to hike up and then down to another market arena.

I lost track of time in my not so little adventure that I didn't know when evening came, lol. It was then I knew I had to head back, though I was miles away from home. By the time I was heading back, my legs were already sore from the walk but I didn't rest because I didn't want to and mostly because I know if I did, tiredness would take hold of my body. Also, I needed to pick up the yam and head back home.

The walk home was filled with lots and lots of panting. To me, it felt like I ran a race of a lifetime, lol. The moment I got home, my legs gave up their support, and I had to struggle to shower before sleeping. It was already very late, so I just let nature do it thing while memories of the market adventure lulled me to full slumber.
