Unexpected walk/travel experience.
I walked! I am not even joking. I walked back and forth like a lost lamb with no home. It was a terrifying moment at first as I checked the time. I knew I had to be at my final destination on time, but...
Hear me out.
I woke up very early this morning to an inspiration for a novel I am working on, and you know how writers are. Maybe you don't, but I do because I spent two hours and a few minutes writing. In the end, I was left with a satisfied look even when I hadn't edited the story... yet.
After that, I did household chores. I had already arranged my bag for today's trip so I didn't bother opening the bag again. The only time I did open the bag was to add little feminine products that were used beforehand.
I showered, brushed, dressed up and ate before embarking on the journey. I had to leave my apartment earlier because I was not yet familiar with the transportation to take to my destination, and I didn't want to miss what I had scheduled, so I left in a hurry.
At first, everything seemed to be going well. I had asked around, and people were nice to point me to directions to get a bus. The bus ride went on smoothly till almost an hour later when a traffic jam showered its presence on us. I didn't check my time at that time because I knew I was still on time.
Well, it wasn't that way an hour later when I wanted to get a transit to the next bus stop. That was when the panic set in, though not for long. I moved back and forth as people directed me. I walked the same place three to four times before I gave up. My legs pleaded to me, speaking softly why there was a need to rest, but time seemed to have turned to a bird.
I didn't have time to rest, at least not yet. Not when I hadn't found the next transit to take despite asking around. Tired and a bit frustrated, I swallowed my frustration and asked someone again and the person suggested I take a transit when I cross to the other side and from the bus stop the transit drops me, I'd surely find my way and so, I followed the advice.
I did exactly as he said. I took the transit, and he was right. The moment I alighted, the road became clearer, more familiar, and from there, I knew the next transit to board.
From then onward, the journey went smoothly, and time broke its wings for my sake because I got to my destination and was able to meet up with my scheduled ride.

Thanks for reading.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
