Joel Embiid scored 34 in just 25 minutes to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to 135-115 beating the frantic season finisher Rockets.
It was the 76ers' (45-21) 6th consecutive streak win to keep on driving the Eastern Conference and hand the Rockets (16-50) their third consecutive loss.
With Embiid's lead, Philadelphia took a 97-78 lead toward the beginning of the third-quarter frame to be at 123-99 with Houston in the last seven minutes of the final quarter.
Kelly Olynyk drove the Rockets with his 27 marks and newbie KJ Martin added a career-high 23 points.
