April 21 2023 - Eid Mubarak ✨️ ♥️ 🌙
Today was Eid marking the end of fasting through the month of Ramadan. Its nice to be able to eat and drink again during the day.
In the morning, I walked to the mosque for the Eid prayer. Unfortunately, because the rain was too much we couldn't do the Eid prayer in the park like last year. The mosque therefore did 5 different Eid prayers because there are so many Muslims in London and the mosque is relatively small.
After that we went home and ate a nice lunch. 😋
We have special Eid cookies which is a tradition. These are some of ours laid out for guests. We are expecting various family members to visit over the next couple of days.
