July 2 2022 - A day in Newcastle
Today I went up North. I first went to Sunderland for a family duty and then went on to Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
It was about 5 hours of driving in all with a couple if breaks on route.
Newcastle is a lovely city based on the edge of the river Tyne with some great bridges which are all architectural wonders of their times.
Newcastle on a Saturday night is a real party town. Its famous for its stag and hen nights. God there were so many going on.
Anyway, here are some of my photos from my evening walk around the city.
