April 30 2022 - Preparing for Eid 🎊🎈🎉

I often need to do shopping on the weekend but today was not an ordinary shop. We are down to the last day of Ramadan and Monday is Eid where we celebrate the end of the Ramadan month.

We typically eat special food, wear new clothes and visit friends and family. So we are lucky this year in the UK that it falls on a public holiday.

The picture shows some of the Eid cookies that we bought. We went to some special Middle Eastern bakeries in the Park Royal part of London.

After shopping, I was too tired to do any exercise. It had been quite hot out and I was starting to feel quite thirsty so just relaxed until it was time to break fast.

I didn't quite get my target steps in but am looking forward to getting back into my exercise routine in the coming days.

I think I will need to with all the calories in these cookies!
