Continuamos con nuestras aventuras en bicicleta, en esta oportunidad nos fuimos a conocer la hacienda La Cebadilla en el sector el Lindero, ubicado en el municipio Tovar, es un caserío o aldea del estado Aragua Venezuela, situado aproximadamente a 10.7 kilómetros al norte de la ciudad de la Victoria. Esta aventura se llevó a cabo el domingo 02-10-2022, nos invitaron los compañeros ciclistas de la Victoria.

We continue with our cycling adventures, this time we went to know the hacienda La Cebadilla in the Lindero sector, located in the municipality of Tovar, is a hamlet or village in the state of Aragua Venezuela, located approximately 10.7 kilometers north of the city of La Victoria. This adventure took place on Sunday 10-02-2022, we were invited by fellow cyclists of La Victoria.

Acordamos la noche anterior la salida de la ciudad de Maracay a las 7 a.m, en esta ocasión el grupo estuvo compuesto por: Sheryl, Yvonne, Claudia, Dari, Gabriel, Andreina y mi persona, el encuentro fue en un centro comercial en la ciudad de la Victoria, donde dejamos los vehículos. Nuestros anfitriones: Carlos, Wilmer, Jose, Richard, Raul, Luis y Franklin del team Victoria Bikers Club, ellos llegaron antes para esperarnos.

We agreed the night before to leave the city of Maracay at 7 am, this time the group consisted of Sheryl, Yvonne, Claudia, Dari, Gabriel, Andreina, and myself, the meeting was in a shopping center in the city of La Victoria, where we left the vehicles. Our hosts: Carlos, Wilmer, Jose, Richard, Raul, Luis, and Franklin from the team Victoria Bikers Club, they arrived earlier to wait for us.

Cruzamos el centro de la ciudad de la Victoria para tomar la vía que conduce a este nuevo destino, hicimos un desvío por una carretera de tierra y pantano, fuimos avanzando para encontrarnos con el primer riachuelo, el caudal no era muy fuerte, uno a uno se fue preparando para cruzarlo, íbamos emocionados por la novedad de lo desconocido.

We crossed the center of the city of La Victoria to take the road that leads to this new destination, we made a detour through a dirt road and swamp, and we moved forward to meet the first stream, the flow was not very strong, one by one was preparing to cross it, we were excited by the novelty of the unknown.

Continuamos avanzando, mientras rodamos Raúl iba haciendo referencia del sitio, el vive en esta aldea y conoce muy bien la historia, en la zona se encuentran haciendas que datan de 300 años de historia, me hubiese gustado visitarlas pero no fue posible en esta oportunidad. El clima estaba fresco, era tipo paseo para disfrutar de la naturaleza, a los pocos metros conseguimos otro riachuelo un poco mas fuerte su caudal.

We continued moving forward, as we rolled Raul was referring to the site, he lives in this village and knows the history very well, in the area, farms are dating back 300 years of history, I would have liked to visit them but it was not possible this time. The weather was cool, it was a kind of walk to enjoy nature, a few meters away we got another stream with a little stronger flow.

El camino, a medida que avanzábamos era mas angosto, pasamos por el caserío, los conocedores del lugar nos contaron historias que nos dejaron con la boca abierta, por cuestiones éticas no se pueden replicar, nos detuvimos para esperar a los rezagados y continuar pedaleando, aun no sabíamos lo que nos esperaba.

The road, as we advanced was narrower, we passed through the hamlet, and the locals told us stories that left us with our mouths open, for ethical reasons can not be replicated, we stopped to wait for the stragglers and continue pedaling, I still did not know what awaited us.

Dejamos el pavimento para continuar por la carretera de tierra y piedras, habían tramos de pantano, era divertido porque gritábamos y nos dábamos aliento los unos a los otros cuando nos conseguíamos con estos tramos o ante una subida, también conseguimos un árbol caído y tuvimos que pasar por debajo.

We left the pavement to continue on the dirt road and stones, there were stretches of the swamp, and it was fun because we shouted and gave encouragement to each other when we got to these stretches or before a rise, we also saw a fallen tree and had to go under it.

Nos llevó un buen rato sortear los obstáculos que nos iba presentando el camino, los tramos de pantano y lo irregular de la vía nos mantuvo en alerta permanentemente, perdí la noción del tiempo, al poco rato llegamos a un sitio donde habían dos casas, nos detuvimos para hidratarnos y comer algo, compartimos la merienda con un lindo perrito, desde este punto aún nos faltaban unos cuantos kilómetros.

It took us a while to overcome the obstacles that the road was presenting us, the stretches of swamp and the irregularity of the road kept us permanently alert, I lost track of time, and soon we reached a place where there were two houses, we stopped to hydrate and eat something, we shared a snack with a nice dog, from this point we still had a few kilometers to go.

Continuamos dejando atrás a esos ojos llenos de ternura y agradecimiento por todo lo que comió, mientras avanzábamos el camino de iba haciendo mas angosto, llegamos a una bifurcación donde se encontraba un portón que delimitaba la propiedad, lo abrieron y pasamos para seguir por una senda aun mas angosta, un poco complicada porque estaba profunda en algunos tramos, se necesitaba cautela y destreza.

We kept rolling and left behind those eyes full of tenderness and gratitude for everything he ate, as we advanced the road was getting narrower, we reached a fork where we found a gate that delimited the property, they opened it and we went through to continue along an even narrower path, a little complicated because it was deep in some sections, caution and dexterity were needed.

El camino nos mantuvo entretenidos por los falsos planos y ascenso no muy pronunciado, el clima se mantenía fresco y la vista de las montañas era muy bonita, al poco tiempo llegamos al lugar reservado por nuestros compañeros de la Victoria, especialmente Raúl quien era amigo de los dueños de la propiedad, un casa de campo con piscina de agua de manantial, vacas, cabras, perros; uno de ellos un cachorrito llamado Choco (me enamoré).

The road kept us entertained by the false flats and not very steep ascents, the weather remained cool and the view of the mountains was very nice, soon we arrived at the place reserved by our companions of the Victoria, especially Raul, who was a friend of the owners of the property: a country house with a spring water pool, cows, goats, and dogs; one of them a puppy named Choco (I fell in love).

Estábamos felices de conocer un sitio nuevo rodeado de la belleza de la naturaleza, la vista de las montañas era un espectáculo, Yvonne había llevado una torta de chocolate la cual fue devorada en pocos minutos, luego de hacer el reconocimiento del lugar, los chicos fueron los primeros en acercarse a la piscina, de repente, Gabriel se alejó un poco para venir corriendo y hacer un clavado digno de una olimpíada.

We were happy to know a new place surrounded by the beauty of nature, the view of the mountains was a spectacle, Yvonne had brought a chocolate cake which was devoured in a few minutes, after doing the reconnaissance of the place, the boys were the first to approach the pool, suddenly, Gabriel moved away a little to come running and make a dive worthy of an Olympics.

Claudia hizo lo mismo y luego se fueron lanzando uno a uno, yo estaba entretenida con el cachorrito y Dari no quería meterse porque no fue preparada (traje de baño), pero llegó el momento de decidir e hicimos lo propio, nos lanzamos en la piscina de agua helada y estuvimos compartiendo allí dos horas aproximadamente.

Claudia did the same and then they jumped in one by one, I was entertained with the puppy and Dari did not want to get in because she was not prepared (bathing suit), but it was time to decide and we did the same, we jumped into the pool of icy water and we were sharing there for about two hours.

Emprendimos el regreso, no sin antes agradecer a los señores encargados de cuidar la casa, ya sabía lo que nos esperaba, nuevamente, atravesar los charcos de barro pero a esa hora (2 p.m) ya se habían compactado un poco por el sol, al poco tiempo llegamos al caserío donde vive Raúl, él decidió quedarse en su residencia, nosotros continuamos y a los pocos metros conseguimos un restaurante.

We started our return, but not before thanking the gentlemen in charge of taking care of the house, I knew what awaited us, again, going through the mud puddles but at that time (2 p.m.) they had already compacted a little by the sun, soon we arrived at the farmhouse where Raul lives, he decided to stay in his residence, we continued and a few meters away we got a restaurant.

Estábamos sedientos y con mucha hambre, los chicos aprovecharon y lavaron todas las bicicletas, llegó la hora de hidratar, relajarnos y comer; el ambiente era muy ameno, la música no se hizo esperar, algunas piezas propicias para bailar, en nuestro grupo hay chicas y chicos se que destacan bailando, pero la sensación fue Gabriel quien nos sorprendió con un baile sensual para grabar un reel de los chicos.

We were thirsty and very hungry, the guys took advantage and washed all the bikes, it was time to hydrate, relax and eat; the atmosphere was very pleasant, the music did not wait, and some pieces conducive to dance, in our group some girls and boys stand out dancing, but the sensation was Gabriel who surprised us with a sensual dance to record a reel of the guys.

Compartimos un rato de diversión, la comida exquisita, aprovechamos de planificar nuevas rutas, le agradecimos a los dueños del restaurant quienes se esmeraron en la atención, nos despedimos para continuar nuestro regreso, pero...la llanta de Yvonne estaba pinchada, los chicos ayudaron en el arreglo del caucho; yo aproveche de tomar fotos del sitio sin percatarme que mi bicicleta se cayó, salieron volando las llaves de la casa, no me di cuenta hasta que llegue a mi residencia y no tenía como entrar.

We shared a fun time, the food was exquisite, we took the opportunity to plan new routes, we thanked the owners of the restaurant who took great care in the attention, we said goodbye to continue our return, but... Yvonne's tire was flat, the guys helped in fixing the rubber; I took the opportunity to take pictures of the site without realizing that my bike fell, and the keys to the house flew out, I did not realize until I got to my residence and I had no way to get in.

Repararon el caucho de la bicicleta de Yvonne y continuamos descendiendo a la ciudad de la Victoria en busca de los vehículos para regresar a nuestros hogares, fue una experiencia muy gratificante, de sorpresas, buena compañía y disfrute... Nuevamente los compañeros de Victoria Bikers Club nos sorprendieron con esta ruta, les agradecemos su disposición de enseñarnos nuevos caminos. Conocimos otro rincón de nuestro país. De regreso, nuestros rostros reflejaban la alegría y satisfacción por esta aventura y recordé lo que dijo Mae West: "Solo se vive una vez, pero si lo haces bien, una vez basta".

They repaired the rubber on Yvonne's bike and we continued descending to the city of Victoria in search of the vehicles to return to our homes, it was a very rewarding experience, of surprises, good company, and enjoyment... Once again the members of Victoria Bikers Club surprised us with this route, we thank them for their willingness to show us new roads. We got to know another corner of our country. On our way back, our faces reflected the joy and satisfaction of this adventure and I remembered what Mae West said: "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough ".
