I think if there is a comparison drawn between cricket and football, for the bat ball sport there would be similar kind of event like Super-Classico. Cricketing rivalry in red ball format is unmatched as to Ashes which is absolutely classic an event to watch and evaluate for many reasons. But when it comes to white ball - India Vs Australia can hold the ability to steam up hype and increase warmth of rivalry.

If the both team sets on a match in a bilateral series, it sets record of fans acceptance. Because as we all know that these are the two teams which contribute the larger portions to the ICC. While donations are larger and the maximum control is greater, it is obvious that matches played between the two would catch pretty much attention.

But, what if the rivalry is taken place at the ODI world cup? It normally begins to surpass all other records and parameters. Yesterday, the two teams settled down to play their first match in the 5th match schedule. I assume that you have watched that the team to play. Looking at today's match that they played I could see that even Aussies batters couldnt get to normal total as per their batting strength. Scoring 200 in a sporting wicket isnt a normal total for the team which lifted the world Trophy 5 times. David Warner played well, he had prior experience playing for Hyderabad in IPL where he even became the tournament’s top scorer.

He could enlarge his innings upto 80-90s even centuries if he wanted to play sensibly. That would have helped the team to a respected total to defend. But Steve Smith also formed mistakes and I would blame the Aussies bat order for the loss. Not because spinnres played well for India, like Jadeja & Kuldeep Yadav, their wickets helped collapse the team.

After first innings I thought India would chase down the target very easily, but their were drama waiting. Starc steamrolled the first wicket with zapper pace and Hazlewood pinpointed bowling lines and took 2 wickets consecutively leading India score 5 for 3 wicket loss. Kohli did a great job not giving his wicket and Iyer supported him to reach to the end of target.

India won the match by six wickets and it cost 40+ overs to reach there. By the way, loss is ultimately a loss and Australia lost 2 points, in that they would want to win the next match.
Whereas, India would be satisfied for the win, but they would be surely have a try to repair the opening order stability to solidify batting strength.
