Creating Memories that Last : Sports Time
Fatimiya Centre team members successfully conducted a winter camp session for over 150 students. We worked together, and as staff members, we were able to organize a great winter camp that all of the staff were pleased with.
We have a proper timetable for the two-month semester, with various classes each day and sports activities on weekends. We had promised the students that the team would include hiking, football, cricket, a marathon run, and other sporting events over the weekend.
We took all of the students to the Yazdan Khan ground last weekend, which is one of my city's most famous grounds. The good thing is that one of the staff members is also an officer at the school, so he has full authority to use the grounds and allow students to play.
After arriving at the Yazan Khan ground, we began teaming with the children and later decided to allow the students to play in three different areas of the ground because managing a large number of students is difficult. We formed three teams and had them play independently.
The students spent almost 2 hours on the field participating in football games and other sporting activities, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The goal of scheduling a weekend physical activity is to enhance their confidence while also increasing their level of energy.
The sporting activities also serve to develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities among kids. When students play football and other sports, they keep their bodies in shape and avoid multiple illnesses.
The best thing about the Fatmia Center is that they work together as a team. All of the staff members are very cooperative with one another, as well as with the students. They also supervise the sports activities on a weekly basis.
It was a wonderful experience for us to organize a sport activity for approximately 160 students last week, which was undoubtedly a difficult task.
The winter camp and sports activities will help children progress intellectually while also providing an opportunity for them to make lasting memories and form new friendships.
This weekend, we are preparing another physical activity for them, this time a marathon race.
Here are some photos that I shared with you all. The photos show the students playing football and, at the end, when the sport teacher provided them with PT exercises that were both entertaining and enjoyable.
