Hoy es “jueves de volver al pasado”

Me encanta un buen TBT, y hoy jueves falta exactamente una semana para el siguiente juego de La Vinotinto, equipo de futbol de Venezuela, contra el equipo de Ecuador, el cual también se jugará aquí en el Monumental de Maturín. Para celebrar esto, publicaré unas fotos que no compartí antes, del juego del 12 de septiembre, cuando nuestra Vinotinto le ganó a Paraguay y encendió la chispa de esperanza de los venezolanos.

Recuerdo muy bien que ese día conseguimos nuestras entradas gracias al amigo @graciliano en el último minuto. Conseguimos cuatro (4) entradas, para mi mamá, mis hermanos y yo. Fue una decisión casi que apresurada porque no teníamos ni la más mínima intención de ir, pero menos mal que nos animamos. Graciliano y @enovf se vinieron hasta mi casa para guardar su moto aquí, y como vivo cerca del Monumental, nos fue fácil llegar allá.

Nuestro único enemigo ese día fue el inclemente sol, pero no nos importó porque sabíamos que valdría la pena, y vaya que no nos equivocamos. Disfrutamos tremendamente del partido y celebramos el gol como los mayores fanáticos del futbol, ya casi no nos quedaba voz de tanto gritar y animar a La Vinotinto, jejeje.

Nunca olvidaré como ganamos el partido, 1-0 contra Paraguay, celebrar era algo indispensable. En el partido nos tomamos unas cervezas que compramos allí mismo, como buenos fanáticos y venezolanos, jejeje. Con la emoción del partido, las olas, las linternas encendidas para animar al equipo, terminamos saliendo con una ola de adrenalina que aprovechamos para, entre los adultos, comprar una caja de cerveza y tomarla en mi casa, de más está decir que la pasamos increíble en casa, contando nuestras anécdotas del partido y que esperábamos para el siguiente juego. Desde luego que no estaba en nuestras expectativas que ganaríamos a Chile de una manera tan épica, pero eso ya lo vivimos.

Ahora, luego de disfrutar de esas lindas fotos, solo nos queda esperar con toda la fe del mundo a que el partido del jueves 16 de noviembre nos vaya igual de bien o incluso mejor. No olviden que #ManoTengoFe, y espero Dios mediante ir a presenciar la victoria de mi equipo Vinotinto. ¿Y ustedes qué expectativas tienen para el próximo juego? ¿Han asistido a juegos anteriores? Today is "throwback Thursday".

I love a good TBT, and today Thursday is exactly one week away from the next game of La Vinotinto, Venezuela's soccer team, against Ecuador's team, which will also be played here at the Monumental de Maturín. To celebrate this, I will post some photos that I did not share before, from the game on September 12, when our Vinotinto beat Paraguay and lit the spark of hope for Venezuelans.

I remember very well that day we got our tickets thanks to our friend @graciliano at the last minute. We got four (4) tickets, for my mom, my brothers and me. It was almost a hasty decision because we didn't have the slightest intention of going, but thank goodness we went for it. Graciliano and @enovf came to my house to keep their bike here, and since I live near the Monumental, it was easy for us to get there.

Our only enemy that day was the inclement sun, but we didn't mind because we knew it would be worth it, and boy were we right. We enjoyed the game tremendously and celebrated the goal like the biggest soccer fans, we almost had no voice left from screaming and cheering for La Vinotinto, hehehehe.

I will never forget how we won the game, 1-0 against Paraguay, celebrating was a must. In the match we drank some beers that we bought right there, as good fans and Venezuelans, hehehehe. With the excitement of the game, the waves, the flashlights lit to cheer the team, we ended up leaving with a wave of adrenaline that we took advantage of to, among the adults, buy a case of beer and drink it at my house, needless to say that we had an incredible time at home, telling our anecdotes of the game and that we were waiting for the next game. Of course it was not in our expectations that we would beat Chile in such an epic way, but we already lived that.

Now, after enjoying those nice pictures, we can only hope with all the faith in the world that the game on Thursday, November 16 will go just as well or even better. Don't forget that #ManoTengoFe, and I hope to God I will be there to witness the victory of my Vinotinto team. And what are your expectations for the next game? Have you attended previous games?
