Visit to a New Site + Funfair, My Actifit Report Card: December 10 2021

Wow I had a great day today. Haha. It started with work but I didn't include that in the number of steps since we can't use our phone. After work that's when I started using this Actifit app.

I went to one of the Batangas property I decided to sell. Well why not when I am already here in this province right? Actually I have become quite familiar with the area even if I don't really live here.

I rode a tricycle to go to the town center and then a bus going towards Tagaytay. Along the way there are a lot of mountain and sea view. Here's one of them. It seems it is a forest in the mountain. Hehe.

Must be nice to go inside a forest eh? I've never been inside a dense one ever. Not sure I'd like the experience because I don't know what kind of animals or insects would be there.

Anyway more than an hour away from where I am currently staying is PHirst Homes Batulao. Voila, there's the subdivision/village name along the highway. 😊

Actually I love the ambience of the place. It's so open, windy and a bit cold too. Haha. Of course the temperature is quite cool because it's still almost Tagaytay, one of the cold places here in the Philippines.

I saw the model units and more but I won't be showing those in this post. That's an article for another day. Hehe.

After I took some photos and videos I hurriedly went to the nearest waiting shed. It was almost 5 pm. I thought it would be easy and fast to get a bus ride back to the other town but I was wrong. 😂 Since I am in the province of course there is a wait time before a bus would pass by. It's not a busy highway after all. 😅

While waiting I saw a wonderful view at the other side of the road. Well of course I crossed the empty road and took a picture. Man I should have taken a video instead huh?

Ah this photo doesn't do justice to the view at all. I actually am quite disappointed with my phone. If only DSLR cameras aren't bulky, I'd buy one stat. 😆 At least I was able to capture a moment of such beauty even if it's not as good as the real thing.

After taking pictures I went back to the other side of the road to wait for a bus. Rode the first bus that passed by. Took about less than an hour to get to the town where I live. And then had to wait for a tricycle to get back to the barangay I stay in.

By the time I got back to the boarding house it was already past 6 pm. Good thing my house mates are already there. They were able to cook some food too! Am glad I bought some corn last Wednesday to share with them. We ate everything and I also ate the shawarma meal I bought in town. That's already my dinner. 😊 No pics though.

But wait, my day didn't end there. Around lunch time my previous supervisor said we should go to the perya (funfair). Oh my, I've never been to one for more than a decade I think. 😂

We agreed to meet around 6 pm. But since I arrived past 6 and my housemates were still cooking food, we were able to go there around 8 pm.

Funfairs are usually around everytime there's a town fiesta. Somehow even if the fiesta in town is over, the funfair is in this barangay. 😅 Not sure how their fiesta works here in Batangas but it's just kinda weird the fiesta place and the perya is far from each other. 🤔

Anyway didn't take a picture of the games of chance people could play. Only took photos of the two available rides: Ferris Wheel and Caterpillar/Dragon.

Ah, long time no ride the one we call Caterpillar in our province (top right in collage photo). Here it's called a Dragon ride. Haha. Whatever the case it still elicited some screams from us adults. 😆 We definitely enjoyed the P30 ($0.60) ride.

Once the fun was over, it was finally time to go back home. Good thing it's just walking distance to our boarding house. It was fast and easy to go back.

Sad I didn't reach 10k steps though. Haha. Oh well. Still okay since I have been moving around since 7 am.

I only use this Actifit app everytime I go out though. Can't use it for everyday activities because I don't want to always have my phone on my body. Come on. 😂
