Kickball Game - Adults and Kids - Panama

Pretty much every Saturday, some friends put together a kickball practice and game for the kids. It's a lot of fun and everyone enjoys it. Today, they changed things up and invited the adults (parents) to participate. The kids played first and then the adults today - some of the teens played with the adults. If nothing else, it was very entertaining!

Team captains were chosen and they then took turns picking their teams. There was some fierce competition and dads were on teams against their sons! Ha!

Red team against blue team - who will win?

The kids all sat by and cheered on their dads (and the one mom who also played). There were lots of great catches, outs, throws, saves, and kicks!

There were some crazy slides into home plate, a couple of dads getting their kids out, and even some kids getting out their own dads. It was a hilarious and entertaining game for the rest of us who were watching!

We even saw these little spectator monkeys in one of the trees. 😉

It is great to see our community come together to have a fun morning and a little competition. This community is encouraging and loving toward all of the kids, and we are all here in this place together for similar reasons. We just love our expat community!

So thankful that no one got hurt and I only heard one dad say he was going home to ice his foot. I think the final score was 21 to 10, but I couldn't really tell which team one. All I know is my son said he never has won, so I guess his record continues! It was a fun day!
