I have been traveling since the early morning.Today, I visited the Texas Civil War Museum which is slated to be closed permanently by the end of this month. What a shame!

When we stop for a connection in Waco, there was a Homecoming parade in progress. I stopped in a local pub and picked up a Birria burrito from a food truck. I then jogged back to the bus station with time to spare.


That burrito was HUGE!

The Magnolia House in Waco, Texas is part of the Magnolia Market at the Silos, made famous by Chip and Joanna Gaines from the TV show "Fixer Upper." The Magnolia House is a beautifully renovated historic home that now serves as a vacation rental property. Visitors can take guided tours to see the design inspiration and behind-the-scenes details of the home.

I had no idea that they used mines and large rifle projectiles… other than those compact little floor fan style cannons.
No hand crank Gatling gun?

(by the way, I just want to say it again, those revolvers look awesome.)
