El Jueves 30 de Septiembre del presente año, Monagas Sport Club visito el Estadio Olímpico de la UCV, para enfrentarse a Metropolitanos Fútbol Club por la jornada 25 de la primera división del Fútbol Profesional Venezolano.
Asimismo, es importante mencionar que el encuentro empezó a las 6:15 PM (hora venezolana).
Primera etapa cargada de dos goles
El partido comenzó con un ritmo intenso en las dos áreas, con un cuadro azulgrana liderando la posesión del balón y atacando los espacios en una cancha húmeda, en donde los dos equipos fueron al choque en varios pasajes del primer tiempo. Justamente, en un centro al corazón del área chica, el mediocampista Facundo Moreira termina tocando el balón con la mano en una barrida exigida, que posteriormente seria sentenciada como penalti favorable para los de Maturín.
Para el ejecución desde los 12 pasos se preparo el goleador oriental, Juan Carlos Ortiz, quien en la fracción 17' le daba el 1-0 a los de Jhonny Ferreira.

Y como la fiesta no termina aquí, al minuto 39' del primer periodo, el atacante Franklin González coloca el dos por cero en el marcador, en una magnifica asistencia de Juan Carlos Ortiz de cabeza.
¿Qué se puede analizar de estos primeros 45' minutos?
Desde mi apreciación, vi un duelo disputando y muy peleado en cada una de las líneas. El elenco local, fue poco a poco haciéndose dueño el encuentro, pero sin claridad al momento de finalizar las jugadas claves.
Monagas Sport Club, aprovecho el poderío defensivo en el ataque y fue contundente en cada una de las jugadas que tuvo de cara al arco del guardameta, Giancarlo Schiavone.

Llegó el descuento en el segundo tiempo
La segunda etapa sería de total infarto para los visitantes, al ver como los locales descontarían en el cotejo, con el gol del ariete Irwin Antón al minuto 73' desde la vía del penal, luego de una mano del defensor azulgrana Rubén Ramírez.
Los minutos seguían avanzando y más crecía la oportunidad de que los violentas empataran las acciones en el recinto deportivo del Olímpico de la UCV. Ferreira, con cierto nerviosismo en los 17' minutos que quedaban para el termino del juego, seguía dándole las respectivas indicaciones a sus muchachos para aguantar el resultado.
Y así fue: ¿Orden defensivo?
Con un impecable orden defensivo en la recta final del choque, los Guerreros del Guarapiche, se llevan la victoria por marcador de 2-1 en esta fecha 25 de la primera categoría del balompié Venezolano.
Ayudaron los cambios y el equipo estuvo bien al momento de hacer los relevos.

Con lo visto durante todo el encuentro, rescato desde mi análisis el orden defensivo y el aprovechamiento en los contraataques. Monagas Sport Club, supo como hacerle daño a un cuadro local que se defendió mal por los costados y que no pudo reaccionar en la segunda etapa.
Aparte, nuevamente Juan Carlos Ortiz y Franklin González vuelven hacer figura en un partido. Ortiz, ahora cosecha 13 dianas y González 10 tantos.
Esto, sin duda alguna, habla muy bien del rendimiento colectivo y defensivo del equipo Monaguense en el torneo.

Monagas Sport Club clasifica al Hexagonal A
Con el triunfo ante Metropolitanos Fútbol Club por 2-1, Monagas Sport Club logra clasificar al Hexagonal A, en donde 6 equipos dirán presente, con el fin de conseguir el título en la presente campaña.
Vale recordar, que de los 6 clubes que estén en la fase final, sólo 4 estarán en Copa Libertadores, 2 en fase de grupos y dos en partidos de eliminación (ida y vuelta), para así poder acceder a la antes mencionada fase de grupos.
De todas maneras, el elenco azulgrana, tiene un cupo garantizado a Copa Internacional. No sabemos si será Copa Libertadores y Sudamericana.
Entonces, ¿es merecido esta clasificación? - Análisis
¿Merecido?. Por todo lo que viene haciendo este equipo, yo diría que si, ya que ha demostrado ser un club explosivo, con recambios en cada encuentro, capaz de empatar los juegos, con mucho potencial en cada una de sus líneas y mucha seguridad al momento de marcar.
