LADIES OF HIVE: CONTEST # 77 // "GIRL'S FAVORITE TOY AND FOOD".
Buenas tardes mis queridos amigos de #Hive, especialmente a todas las hermosas damas de esta comunidad. Hoy vengo a compartirles mi participación en el concurso # 77 y me encantaría invitar a mis amigas @brujita18 , y @gracesanchez.
Good afternoon my dear #Hive friends, especially to all the beautiful ladies in this community. Today I am here to share my participation in contest # 77 and I would love to invite my friends @brujita18, and @gracesanchez.
Ambas preguntas son muy interesantes por lo que me voy a concentrar en las dos. De esta manera inicio mi participación:
Both questions are very interesting so I'm going to focus on both. This is how I start my participation:
1)¿Cuáles eran tus juegos (o juguetes) favoritos de niño? ¡Cuéntanos sobre ellos! ¿Todavía juegas alguno de ellos ahora?
1)What were your favorite games (or toys) as a child? Tell us about them! Do you still play any of them now?
Cuando estaba pequeña no existían los juegos de hoy en día, todo era más sencillo, más infantil. Recuerdo que existía el juego de Pac-man y el Atari, pero mi mamá no tenía dinero para comprarme esas cosas así que mis juguetes consistían en una colección de muñecas que eran gorditas y cachetonas, peluches, y muñecas de papel. Recuerdo que como no encontraba cómo maquillarlas, les colocaba pintura de uñas en los párpados y los labios, y mi primo menor para fastidiarme decía que mis muñecas eran diabólicas, jajajaja, y que había que hacerles un exorcismo. A varias les hundió los ojos y quedaron tuertas. Un día me botaron todas las que estaban así porque de verdad que estaban muy feas. Las muñecas de papel eran mis favoritas y hacía unas novelas súper dramáticas con ellas. El resto de mis juegos eran didácticos, memoria, rompecabezas, recuerdo que me compraron un hula hula por la moda de la canción de Enrique y Ana y con mis vecinitos jugábamos la cuerda, el gato y el ratón, escondite, paralizado, la candelita y esos juegos tradicionales que siempre fueron muy sanos y divertidos.
When she was little there were no games today, everything was simpler, more childish. I remember there was the Pac-man game and the Atari, but my mom didn't have money to buy me those things so my toys consisted of a collection of dolls that were chubby and chubby-cheeked, stuffed animals, and paper dolls. I remember that since she couldn't find a way to put makeup on them, she put nail polish on their eyelids and lips, and to annoy me my younger cousin said that my dolls were diabolical, hahahaha, and that they had to be exorcized. Several had their eyes sunken and they went blind. One day they kicked out all the ones that were like that because they really were very ugly. Paper dolls were my favorite and I made some super dramatic novels with them. The rest of my games were didactic, memory, puzzles, I remember that they bought me a hula hoop because of the fashion for Enrique and Ana's song and with my neighbors we played rope, cat and mouse, hide-and-seek, paralyzed, tealight and those traditional games that were always very healthy and fun.
2)¿Cuáles eran tus comidas favoritas cuando eras niño? ¿Todavía las disfrutas ahora?
2)What were your favorite foods as a child? Do you still enjoy them now?
Cuando era niña no nos llevaban a comer a la calle, mi tía decía que eso nos enfermaba del estómago así que todas las comidas a esa edad eran 100% caseras. Tenía muchas comidas favoritas, las arepitas dulces fritas que llevaban anís en la masa y le poníamos encima queso rallado, las empanadas, el pan cuando estaba recién horneado y se le colocaba la mantequilla y se derretía y lo acompañábamos con café con leche, pero mi favorita entre todas las comidas de mi infancia era la pasta corta, especialmente los caracolitos, cuando los preparaban con leche, huevo y queso, todo eso lo mezclaban en una cacerola a fuego muy bajo y quedaba cremosa y con el queso derretido, eso era una delicia. A mí me gustaba tanto que después que tuve a mis hijos se la preparaba y a ellos también les gustaba mucho, aún la preparamos de vez en cuando y sigue siendo uno de los platos favoritos en la casa.
When I was a child they didn't take us out to eat, my aunt used to say that it made us sick to our stomachs so all meals at that age were 100% homemade. I had many favorite foods, the fried sweet arepitas that had anise in the dough and we put grated cheese on top, the empanadas, the bread when it was freshly baked and we put the butter on it and melted it and we accompanied it with coffee with milk, but my favorite among all the foods of my childhood was the short pasta, especially the snails, when they were prepared with milk, egg and cheese, all of that was mixed in a saucepan over very low heat and it was creamy and with melted cheese, that was a delight. I liked it so much that after I had my children I prepared it for them and they also liked it a lot, we still prepare it from time to time and it is still one of the favorite dishes in the house.

Muy interesante tu post, fijate que a mi me gustaba jugar con las muñecas pero me divertían mas los juegos de los varones, así que jugaba escondido porque a mi papá no le gustaba que lo hiciera jajajaja volaba papagallos, metras, carrucha en fin jejejeje era muy divertido. ¡Saludos!

Yes friend, and so little by little things are passing from generation to generation.
I think that simple toys are better than some of the toys available today. Today's toys are expensive and often video related. Nobody plays outside anymore. Simple games often include outdoor activities which is much healthier anyway. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day!
You are very right my dear friend. In the past we had so much fun playing outside, everything was healthier in the open air. I would not change that time of traditional games for those of today. A pleasure to share a bit of that time of games! Happy weekend!!
