Rainy Days and Sundays always gets Mia Down 😂 : April 27 2024 (Eng/Deu)

Anke here aka Anna-NewKey.

Our gig yesterday got cancelled at the last minute as the owner of the bar is very ill at the moment and decided to close up for the week. Harpreet is one who enjoys the music of the people he books for Friday's and Saturday's so much that he often sits among his guests to listen; there are only a select few, many of singer-songwriters, that play for him.
Harpreet sings himself too and would have most likely gone to today's Open Mic at the Coopers Arms to sing a few songs. We'll be there for sure.

It's been raining heavily this morning and Mia doesn't like the rain, but neither does she like the raincoat I put on her, too noisy when it rustles and it just feels weird.. 😂
We only went round the block and the church, but I had to drag her along for about half the way.. 😄

She got used to it a little after a while and even trotted along off-lead when initially I thought I'd have to pick her up and carry her.

Unser gestriger Auftritt wurde in letzter Minute abgesagt, da der Besitzer der Bar im Moment sehr krank ist und beschlossen hat, diese Woche zu schließen. Harpreet ist jemand, der die Musik der Leute, die er für Freitag und Samstag bucht, so sehr genießt, dass er oft unter seinen Gästen sitzt, um zuzuhören; Es gibt nur wenige Auserwählte, viele Singer-Songwriter, die für ihn spielen. Harpreet singt auch selbst und wäre höchstwahrscheinlich zum heutigen Open Mic im Coopers Arms gegangen, um ein paar Lieder zu singen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall da sein.

Es hat heute Morgen stark geregnet und Mia mag den Regen nicht, aber der Regenmantel, den ich ihr angezogen habe, gefällt ihr auch nicht, er ist zu knisterig und es fühlt sich sicher einfach komisch an.. 😂
Wir gingen nur um den Block und die Kirche herum, aber ich musste sie etwa die Hälfte des Weges hinter mir herziehen.. 😄

Mit der Zeit gewöhnte sie sich daran und trottete sogar ohne Leine mit, wobei ich zunächst dachte, ich müsste sie tragen.

I hope Harpreet is better soon. I heard he is very ill. He is a great supporter of live music.
