My post for yesterday will have mostly doggie pictures I'm afraid because I was excited to walk alone with my two girls again, something I used to do for many years in the mornings.

Yes, I have a second dog, but she lives with my ex-partner, so we have split the kids between us as it were.. haha

We went around one of our favourite spots, Deepdale Quarry which is a little too far for me to get to in the mornings but as I've got the week off it was a no-brainer to go and pick her up. She was totally excited to see her Mum! No surprise!
By the way: the weather is particularly grim this week, but it was at least dry and mild yesterday..

So, here we go, some pics of our walk and my two shorties.

Mia always keeping an eye on me; she's jealous when Holly comes near and they both really only tolerate each other but also play if no people are around.
Holly is a rescue we got from a local shelter, she was picked up as a stray when she was about three; now she's got her first grey hairs five years later.

If you flick these two back and forth you get a nice head movement.. haha

Holly clearly misses me and when I call her she comes running in an instant although she's a pretty independent girl. When I left her home after our walk it seemed as if she was sulking and not looking at me.. It does make me sad... 😟

But to be honest it's better them being apart, Holly has bitten Mia a few times, her ears mainly because they're an easy target being so big. That's why Mia is always very careful with other dogs, but luckily not frightened.

I tried to take a selfie of the three of us but didn't know where to put the phone and I didn't want them to close together either so you get one of Mia's big ears only. Well, you see her all the time anyhow..
