Gigs: August 11 2023
Another Open Mic with Kev, this time outside the Sun Hotel in Hitchin where he held a charity day for Alzheimer Research UK the other day.
It was a great evening indeed as it was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy a drink with musical friends.
The news of the day though were that the Woolpack in Wilstead, who were going to book us some time in the future, have called upon us short notice for Saturday night! How cool is that? We went there the other day for their first open mic under new management and did a few duets.
Anyway, a few pictures of the evening including some of me for a change.. 🙄😄

A lovely court yard that supposedly dates back as far as 1575! Amazing sitting in such a historic place!

This area filled up later on with more performers and a lot of people just listening.

He's a right poser! Lovely guy and knows a LOT of people..
He plays in a variety of bands as well as on his own.

Looks a great place for a beer and music. I love the old building! If walls could talk and all that. Predates the Great Fire of London by nearly 90 years and Oliver Cromwell wouldn't arrive for another 24 years (I think).
