Vintage Car: July 18 2023

(Edited)

Mia pulled me through town in the morning and as we walked across one of the traffic lights I heard some shouting going on on the other side of the crossing, something along the lines of "he can't stop".
There was a group of cyclists behind a vintage car and I'm still not certain if they meant the driver couldn't stop or something?

Anyway, I was quick to get my phone out and take a few shots only to later realise that the bl.. lense was smudged. 😡 Might be the fingerprint thing I'm using.
I tried to tidy them up in Snapseed, but don't really know how to do that sort of thing.. so here come a few rather hazy pictures.

I have a feeling it was the car they were on about; they are clearly interested in it.

Looks like a cycling club on an outing. Maybe the person in the old car didn't give them enough room.

I was wondering what car it was. Seems to be a Ford Popular

Yes, it must have been something like that.

That looks very much like it, doesn't it? I wouldn't know but the link would suggest it. The whole thing was over in a flash so details were lost on me.

Google's reverse image search can be useful. It found the car.

I didn't think to look up the registration number, but that does not show the model. It's looking good for 65 years old.
