Blackbird: June 27 2023

I haven't posted for a few days as I felt I needed a little break and I had a lot of other things going on anyhow my week off being one of them.. 😄
I've noticed by doing that though how my Actifit ranking went straight down.. Interesting..

Anyway, I shall start off with Mia first and where I left off last week.. With some birdies around our church walk this morning.

... I noticed someone joining us on the wall..

... and slowly jumping to a better view point...
The little blackbird didn't hang about for long though, it was obviously not worth staying..

We moved on over our wooden foot bridge only to find our swan family again. This time they weren't grooming though but seemingly fast asleep.. at the least the cygnets were.

PS: I would have normally put baby swans or something, but I'm trying to learn the English words for them.. I never knew how different they all are and I'll be some time to remember them all, no doubt.. lol

😄 Nope, in the cool morning light.. haha

This daily posting was getting a little too much, I might keep the content a little shorter maybe.. it's all a learning curve to find a good middle ground.

Cygnets, huh!? Never knew! I thought this was going to be you covering The Beatles song, but it was quite refreshing to join you on your walk :)

I tried to play Blackbird this morning, inspired by this post! …there were definitely a lot of key points I’d forgotten, so I had to call this one a practice session instead of a performance 🤣
