Mi punto de vista crítico y analítico del partido | My critical and analytical view of the game

Saludos estimados compañeros de la comunidad @fulldeportes. Hoy les doy a conocer mi punto de vista referente al partido de ayer de nuestra Vinotinto, creo que cada partido nos deja algo de qué hablar, tanto bueno como no tan bueno, es parte del equilibrio emocional deportivo.

Venezuela sacó un triunfo importante contra Perú, pero seamos sinceros, este partido pudo haber sido mucho mejor para la Vinotinto. Ganamos 1-0 gracias a un penalti de Salomón Rondón, y claro, la victoria es lo que cuenta, pero si analizamos el juego, nos damos cuenta de que el equipo dejó mucho que desear en varios aspectos.

Venezuela got an important win against Peru, but let's be honest, this match could have been much better for the Vinotinto. We won 1-0 thanks to a penalty kick by Salomón Rondón, and of course, the victory is what counts, but if we analyze the game, we realize that the team left much to be desired in several aspects.

Perú venía en un momento flojo, sin encontrar su mejor versión en estas Eliminatorias, y era la oportunidad perfecta para que Venezuela impusiera condiciones, generará más peligro y diera un golpe de autoridad. Pero no fue así. Nos costó llegar con claridad, la generación de juego fue intermitente y por momentos se sintió que el equipo jugaba con miedo a arriesgar más. Nos salvó el penalti, pero no podemos depender solo de eso para sumar puntos.

Ahora bien, lo positivo es que seguimos con vida en la pelea por un cupo al Mundial, y eso es lo más importante. No se puede subestimar lo que significa ganar fuera de casa en Sudamérica, y más en un torneo tan complicado como este. La defensa se vio sólida en algunos tramos del partido, y la actitud del equipo, aunque con fallos, mostró que hay ganas de competir. Pero si queremos clasificar, hay que hacer mucho más.

However, the positive thing is that we are still alive in the fight for a place in the World Cup, and that is the most important thing. We cannot underestimate what it means to win away from home in South America, especially in a tournament as complicated as this one. The defense looked solid in some parts of the match, and the team's attitude, although there were some flaws, showed that there is a desire to compete. But if we want to qualify, we have to do much more.

No ganar significaría depender demasiado de otros resultados, algo que nunca es bueno en este tipo de torneos. Ahí es donde la Vinotinto debe aprovechar, salir con mentalidad ganadora y jugar con más ambición. Hay que mejorar la precisión en ataque, ser más contundentes y no desperdiciar las oportunidades que se presenten. También es crucial mantener el orden defensivo y no cometer errores innecesarios que nos puedan costar caro.

The next game will be key and there is no margin for error here. Winning this match is vital, both in terms of morale and statistics. With three more points, Venezuela gets into the fray and begins to consolidate its position in the qualification places. Not winning would mean depending too much on other results, something that is never good in this kind of tournaments. That is where the Vinotinto must take advantage, go out with a winning mentality and play with more ambition. We must improve our precision in attack, be more forceful and not waste the opportunities that come our way. It is also crucial to maintain defensive order and not make unnecessary mistakes that could cost us dearly.

Al final, este partido contra Perú nos deja una lección: no podemos conformarnos con lo mínimo. Si bien la victoria se celebra, el rendimiento tiene que mejorar. La esperanza sigue intacta, pero si queremos ver a Venezuela en el Mundial, necesitamos más contundencia, más fútbol y más hambre de ganar.

In the end, this match against Peru teaches us a lesson: we cannot be satisfied with the minimum. While the victory is to be celebrated, the performance has to improve.
