To & From The Gym. My Actifit Report Card: February 24 2025
I usually do 20-30k steps a day, but today just in the first couple of hours I made 10,000 by walking to the gym and back from it home which is about 6km or more.
What better blessing than health? You can't think of a single thing. This is a friendly reminder to preserve, maintain and enjoy your health because it's true wealth.
Walking puts me in a better mental state where I can think clearly and eliminate the clutter and noise inside my head, it's a magic tool for stressed and anxious souls.
Before, I intentionally didn't want to walk or run because I thought being bulky is the way, but very soon I found that my health is deteriorating, my breath is getting shorter and shorter because of smoking, and despite going to gym almost every day for so long now, I still wasn't healthy.
I chose health over every other thing, and will hopefully continue to make this conscious choice of not letting anything stand in the way of me becoming the best version of myself; being as healthy as I can be. Amen.
