Cristiano Ronaldo's Anger is Odd

Mulan

I don't believe it was necessarily a nice move for Cristiano Ronaldo to be punished by Manchester United and Erik ten Hag for walking away from Manchester United's win against Tottenham a few minutes earlier before the end of the game.

For those unaware, Wednesday night won't only be remembered by the fact that I only got 3 points from having Sterling and Son in my fantasy team but also for Manchester United's win over Spurs with the spotlight of that win stolen by Cristiano Ronaldo walking away from the bench before the game ended.

The reason I believe it wasn't a nice move is that sometimes things need to be solved calmly and personally without the extra attention from the media. Now, not calling Cristiano to Chelsea's match is a done decision and there really isn't much to talk about when it comes to that point, but, there is something worth talking about regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's situation.

Cristiano Ronaldo is losing his sense of reason

People may not like to agree with me here as Cristiano is a legend of this game and when people have such a status it is almost possible for them not to have this halo that makes everything they do seem like the right thing. But, there could be a case that even Cristiano himself is aware of that, otherwise, he wouldn't have asked Jordan Peterson himself to come over.

However, having Jordan Peterson come over is not the reason I believe that Cristiano Ronaldo is losing his sense of reason but his actions this season have suggested that it might be the case.

Cristiano Ronaldo was angry because he wasn't subbed on during Manchester United's win over Tottenham in a game that seemed in Manchester United's hands. Cristiano's stans seem to believe that Erik ten Hag should have subbed in the Portuguese legend since Manchester United were in so much control. The question is; why?

The match was basically won, why is Cristiano angry he didn't feature in it? We didn't see him storm off when he wasn't subbed in during Manchester United's 6-3 loss to Manchester City. Why is it that a game with a guaranteed win is when Cristiano Ronaldo decides to storm off?

When top players sign contracts with teams, there is always a condition included that guarantees the players would get compensation for being unused from the bench that almost equals what players from playing. So, financially, it doesn't make sense.

And as we mentioned above, sports-wise, it didn't make sense to feature him either. There's no point in featuring Cristiano when you're already in control and seeing the game out, in fact, Cristiano isn't even the kind of player to see a game out with.

Also, football games aren't that guaranteed where you could just bring in a player who'd change the tactics just because you're in control now. Exactly a week before that game, Tottenham scored 3 goals in the space of 15 minutes against Eintracht Frankfurt. I know there are differences but it is still not that far-pitched.

Cristiano Ronaldo's situation is worrying

The player seems open to entering clashes against others. Is the point of his actions forcing the manager to pick him against his own better judgment? It is also belittling and disrespectful to your own colleagues to just insinuate that you should have been brought in at their expense and walk away if you don't.

Both sides should just keep the situation calm until the end of November and Cristiano Ronaldo should definitely move on to another club afterward, even though I doubt any that could afford him or is competing for titles would really want him.

His action can in no way be justified. He is clearly not thinking right or his ego is just too big and fragile.

I dont think his actions are something to worry about. Everyone wants to play and therefore he has to handle his ego. I think that the reason for JP's invovment here is something different and not related to football at all. In general, I would say that Ronaldo has to retire soon. He has got it all and it is time to leave this game in order to focus on the next stages in life.

I think it’s more to force the move in January which would presumably require terminating his contract because no side can afford his wage demands and a transfer fee on top.

The only thing I would say in his defence is that he made it clear that he wanted to leave, the club said no and then they stick him on the bench. It doesn’t justify his behaviour but you can appreciate his frustration.

The thing about the transfer rumors is that they're all speculations. I am on the side of people who believe he actually didn't find a top club that wanted to sign him. I do see how yours could also be true. I guess we'll see in January which is the truth.

The bit I'm puzzled about is he was asked to come on and then refused and walked off in a huff. They should have let him go in the summer. marketing money came into it and they decided it would be profitable to hang onto the global star for another few months even if he wasn't playing.

I think CR7 was pushing his luck aiming to get that extra bit of glory to elevate his status overall. I honestly can't see a top club that could use him. I was thinking Bayern but they actually said that they don't want him.

AC Milan or Athletico Madrid are only clubs that play his kinda style with a target man or maybe or Chelsea might try for him again. Can see something mad happening such as Mbappe getting him to PSG as he is his hero and all that.

Hi boss,
Hmmn,well not exemplary by Ronny.
But maybe that's what you get when you didn't really plan to get a player. You just saw City about to sign him and jealousy forced you to snap him up. It cost Solksjaer his job because Ronny was really an after thought.

This whole situation now looks like an eyesore and I think he's set to leave in Jan.

Regards
