VIOLENCE IN SPORTS.

Sports violence is as old as man itself even though it seems much more glaring now than it was decades back. Today the impact of television has really changed the perspectives under which violence are being view. It is no longer news that billions of dollars are being spent of sport broad casting and sponsorship to players right and endorsement. Even at this point the world is still thousands of the years away from realizing a violence free sports world. Just couple of days back, a qualification match between the three lions of England and the Bulgaria national team was marked by racist chant by some sections of the Bulgaria fans towards the black players in the England team.

This is just a very few experience that has been on for years and all effort to stopped it has proved abortive over the years. One may be wrong if one think this just a problem in the west. This is a general problem that has continues to put a cast into sports in general. We may as well see a different approach by this sports thugs and rules violators taking a different measure if urgent attention is not been taken to correct this old age long man ace.

In Africa the story is not different, many family seized going to sports events simply because they can not predict the outcome of what will happen after the sports events.
Just months back was a show of shame at the final of African Champions league and the South American faction of champions league where the match had to be postponed as a results of crowd violence.
