CROC CITY BASKETBALL LEAGUE.

Week seven of the Croc City Basketball League was concluded today with four matches played, in the first match of the day was the game between the table toppers Zinix versus Realone. The Zinix left nothing to chance as they dominated the match from start to finish to continue their perfect record to the league so far. After the match,the coach of Real one answering questions from the journalists said the inexperience on the side of his players resulted in the below performance witnessed during the match, he went further to give credit to the Zinix for the manner at which they control the game defensively leaving his team with no option than to shoot from downtown. He however promised that his team is young and will improve gama by game.
On his part, the coach of Zinix pointed out that his team is still work in progress as there are still tough matches head for his team to play in the league, when asked about teams that will likely pose a threat to his team title ambition, the coach made mention of two teams in Kada Kings and Topteenz as potential obstacles to his team defending their title.

Both Topteenz and Kada Kings played against their respective opponents last night. Topteenz did the business perfectly as they claimed another victory against hard fighting NDA Gunners who is being coached by the oldest and the most experienced coach in the league. The match was as a very tough one for Topteenz who were still missing three key players due to injuries leaving the Topteenz coach with no option than to draft in three rookies into his squad for the week seven match.

NDA Gunners won the jump ball but it was Topteenz that took the early lead in the first quarter, the second quarter went to the NDA Gunners as they played the Topteenz in their own game. The was tied at third quarter leaving the two coaches with little options than to go for a win.
The forth quarter was taken over by Topteenz who pressed the Gunners harder from their paint till end to win by 86-78 points to continue their resurgence in the league.

After the match, coach of Topteenz gave update on when his three injured players will be available, he said he expected two to be fit for next weekend match while the third injured player will still be observed further. On the performance of the three rookies he drafted in place of the injured players, he said the three players gave a good accounts of themselves with the opportunity they were given.
On his part, the coach of NDA Gunners said he was satisfied with his players performance even though he would have love to win.
