Schubert announced Al-Ahly’s contract with the trio “Patrick Gardner - Prince Adams Ali - Tony Mitchell Jr.” to support the basketball team in the BAL Championship via his page on the social networking site Facebook.

Schubert wrote: “Officially - Al-Ahly announces its contract with the trio “Patrick Gardner - Prince Adams Ali - Tony Mitchell Jr. to strengthen the ranks of the basketball team in the BAL Championship.”

The first women's basketball club in Al-Ahly club achieved a victory over the Heliopolis team with a score of 98-46, in the match that was held in the Martyrs' Hall at Al-Jazira headquarters, as part of the league championship competitions.‎

Al-Ahly presented a strong display and imposed its control over the course of the match thanks to the players’ experiences and the instructions of the technical staff, led by Tariq Khairy, the team’s technical director.

The first period ended with Al-Ahly leading 26-15, and the team continued its superiority in the second period and decided it in its favor with a score of 60-28.

Al-Ahly imposed its control over the third period, which ended with the team leading 81-39, then decided the fourth period and the match in its favor with a score of 98-46.

The Al-Ahly women’s basketball team succeeded in achieving victory in the previous match against Al-Zohour with a score of 80-64 in the league championship competitions
