Today after to went shopping, I found in my garden this guest named Morrocoy.
This tiny friend is known as the Red-footed Tortoise, for their distinctive red-colored feet and have a lifespan of up to 50 years in the wild and over 100 years in captivity.
They are known to be able to swim very well and can even stay underwater for up to 15 minutes. They use their strong legs and long neck to paddle and steer in the water. Additionally, it is an important species in many indigenous cultures and is considered a symbol of longevity, wisdom, and strength. Ummhhh… may be this lovely visit want to give me a “ sign”. 🤔🤷🏾♀️😜
