They came home with a defeat
I had very bad news this morning when I opened my phone to check on the result of Porto Vs Arsenal in the Champions League Knock Out stage. Yes, they came back home with a defeat from the home team Porto with a 1-0 score. What was more sad was that they were beaten with a goal in the injury time of the second half of the game.
I was thinking that we are going to have a good game in Portugal in the first game. Maybe a draw if we are looking at the recent form of Arsenal in the Premier League. A draw for a result being a visitor to another country will be a good start for the second leg at home.
Arsenal won with a big margin of goals in their last two games in Premier League, beating Westham 6-0 and also beating Burnley 5-0. I really think that they will get an easy win or a draw with such a boost from the local league. but it seems Porto don't want to give up that easily without a fight, and they came out better with the win.
I really hope that Arsenal could win at home, so that they can get through into the next stage of the Champions League, something that we have not seen for a very long time.
