My Actifit Report Card: January 2 2024

Hello everyone, warm welcome to my actifit report for tuesday, the 2nd day of January, 2024. Happy new year everyone. We are already 2 days away from the new month.

I began my activities a bit late after waking up slightly behind my usual time. This was due to the previous activities of the new year.

I did my chores then washed some clothes. In the afternoon I went out for sightseeing and to see some.of my friends who had come back for the Christmas and new year celebration. I met this tree on my way. I observed that it has shedded most of its leaves. That could be due to harmattan that started sometime in December, although it has receded by now.

From there I went to a local school playing ground where the finals of a community football match was staged. Spectators weer not much when I arrived.

The football match ended goalless in the first half. When second half resumed, we were all expecting either of the two sides to score but that was not to be.

The final had to be decided on penalties. A player from one of the sides had to miss the first penalty kick of the day. Their opponents scored all and thus won the finals on penalties.



Medals were presented first to the losing side. Thereafter, the winning team showed up and collected their down medals. It was well late in the day, that explains the dullness of the picture at this point. I was using my mobile phone to snap the pictures.

The final moment which everyone was waiting for came. The presentation of the trophy. The captain of the winning side came out and was presented with the trophy. His teammates and people from their community surrounded him and started singing victorious songs.

At this point I had to also return home. I was happy to have watched the final match as both teams tried to win the trophy. But one team must emerge as the winner.
