The Splinterlands Season is ending today

The current splinterlands season is ending in less than one day and to be precise it will be over in approximately 9 hours from now. I have been trying to increase my league to champion 2 but I could not make it till now. Sometimes there can be more competition in the game and because of this it's not easy to level up the league as planned but it's fine because even in Champion 3 the rewards are not bad. I'm running short of some rating points which is approximately 180 that I need to have then only I can move to the Champion 2 league and this time getting 180 is not easy. Generally when the game season is about to end then a lot of people blame old battles and this creates more competition on the battleground.

I play battles in a wild format and I know that the rewards are reduced for players in this format of the game. This is also because the game encourages people to join the modern and undoubtedly their rewards are better but in the modern we need the latest cards. Old cars cannot be used in the modern format of the game and this is why I'm not OK to play in that format because if I do then the old cards will be useless and even their rental is pretty much low in the market for those cards. I have already discussed in the previous post that I am not going to spend money on the rental market for the new cards as well as of now I am not planning to invest money in the latest cards as well through the purchase. I have planned to do this but it will take some time for me.

I have some liquid SPS lying in my account which I'm going to power up because it's always good to keep the token balance in stake instead of liquid form. Keeping in liquid is not helping me anyway because once I take then it starts earning an APR which is almost 13% and currently its 12.9%.

This is the updated sps balance I have as of now I am trying to make it 200k as soon as possible. Earlier I paused my buying for SPS because I wanted to see if the price was going to be stable and now it is quite low so I have started buying again however I am still trying to keep a tab on the prices so if there is a big dump on the price then I am going to buy a bigger bunch of tokens. You never know how the market behaves so we need to be ready to grab the buying opportunity if it is there and the same I am trying to do with SPS if it happens. Undoubtedly the dollar value for the holding of SPS is pretty much low and almost a month back it was kind of double the value that it is showing as of now. This is because the price is pretty much low in the market and it keeps on reducing which is because a lot of people must be selling the token in the market I don't think selling SPS at this price is a good idea however it market and we cannot ask people to stop selling.

I'm not going to play any battle from now onwards till the season ends because I know it's going to be difficult this time and it's better to grow more energy that I will be able to use in the new season. I'm also looking forward to seeing what amount of glint tokens I receive as part of the reward even in the last season I did not buy much hence I am planning to buy more stuff this time once the new season starts.
