My Actifit Report Card: February 25 2024 (Happy three-day weekend! / 嬉しい三連休)

It's been a while since I've posted on Actifit!
I was actually running one night last week when I crashed head-on into a bar that prohibits vehicles from entering the raceway, and I suffered some pretty bad bruising. I was under a lot of stress and thinking about childcare and other things while I was running, so I wasn't really aware of what was going on ahead of me. I could see the bars and was aware of them, but I thought I was passing through the gap between the two bars, when in fact I was running head-on into them. With a sudden impact, my body fell forward, and at first I did not understand what had happened, but the intense pain in my thighs told me that I had collided with the bar. It was a very pathetic story and I hated myself for it, but I finally recovered to walk normally.

Well, it was a three-day weekend in Japan, but the weather was not so good. Still, yesterday, the middle day, was sunny, so I was able to take my son outside. First, we went to a park where we could see the ocean on striders. After running around the park, we went back to the house, changed to a stroller without going up to the front door, and went back to the same park. Since it was a consecutive holiday weekend, there was an event being held at the park. First, we went to the outdoor music hall where we could hear some rock music. My son was a little interested in the electric guitar, bass and drums sounds he heard for the first time. I think we heard two songs last time, too. My son's concentration was not enough for him and he got bored, or he wanted to go to another place! I can't take my 2-year-old son to a concert hall, and since I am not a musician at all, it's not often that I get a chance to let my child listen to a live performance. I feel sorry that he left after listening to only two songs, but it was a valuable experience for us.

The next stop was the large meadow area. Here, a marché was being held with themes of food, clothing, shelter, and fun. However, my son is not really interested in the food or general merchandise stores. I wanted to take my time to look at the stores, but when I stopped the stroller, he would rush me with a strong "hurry up and go! So I couldn't enjoy the shops. The only place my son showed interest was the soap bubbles area. He had seen soap bubbles in the same place before and his eyes were sparkling, so I knew it was a hit with the kids. This time, the performance of trapping white smoke inside the soap bubbles was performed, and the contents were more powerful. When you popped a white soap bubble with your hand, the smoke would come out and disappear. The children around me were already in a frenzy. It was a day for them to exercise their bodies to the fullest, as they had not been able to play outside on a rainy day.

Well, it was raining for the remaining two days of the three-day weekend, so we could not play outside. Seeing my son looking so bored, I thought that a craft kit where he could make something would be good for such a situation before, and I was looking for it on the Internet in various ways. So I would like to introduce one I had purchased. My son started to want to go outside even on this rainy day, but he managed to stay at home with this craft kit I had purchased for such occasions. What I had prepared was this "First Cardboard Craft Kit".

This product did not require tools such as scissors or glue, and the materials were all in one convenient piece. The thin cardboard is cut out, and children can easily prepare hollowed-out parts using their own strength. By inserting these parts into each other, a car can be easily completed. You can also arrange the parts by painting them different colors, such as bus, police car, ambulance, and so on. A sheet to play with the completed car is also included, and I was able to play with it for an hour or two. The photo was taken after my son had played with it, so it is already a bit beat up, but you can play with it like this.

My son loves being outside, and I want him to move around in nature as much as possible! I try to meet my son's requests to go outside as much as possible, but I don't want him to go outside on rainy days. However, I don't want him to go outside on rainy days, so I would like to enhance our playtime at home as I did this time.

こんにちはAlkiruaです。久しぶりにActifit投稿へ投稿です！
実は先週の夜ランニングをしていたら、車両侵入禁止用のバーに正面から激突し、結構酷い打撲を負い、足を引き摺りながら歩く１週間となっていました。ストレスもあり育児のこととか色々考え事をしながら走っていて、前方への意識が薄かったのです。一応バーは見えて認識はしていたのですが、2つあるバーの隙間を通っているつもりが、実は真正面から突っ込んでいたというザマです。突然の衝撃と共に体は前に倒れ、最初何が起きたか理解できませんでしたが、強烈な太ももの痛みでバーに衝突したことが分かりました。なんとも情けない話で自分が嫌になりましたが、ようやく普通に歩けるように回復しました。

日本では３連休でしたが、どうも天気が良くなかったですね。それでも中日の昨日はよく晴れていたので、息子を外に連れ出すことが出来ました。最初はストライダーで海の見える公園へ、園内を一通り走り終わったら一度家に戻り、玄関には上がらずそのままベビーカーに乗り換え、また同じ公園に向かいます。連休ということもあり、公園ではイベントが開催されていました。まずは何やらロックな音楽が聞こえてくる野外音楽堂へ！１ヶ月くらい前のフォークソングの演奏とはまた違い、バンドによる演奏が行われていました。息子も初めて聞くエレキギター、ベースやドラムの音に少し興味を持ったようです。２曲ほど演奏を聴くことが出来ました。前回も２曲だったような。息子の集中力だとこれくらいが限界で飽きてしまうのか、別のところへ行きたい！と言います。２歳の息子をコンサートホールに連れて行くわけにもいかないし、自分は音楽が全く出来ないため、子供に生の演奏を聞かせる機会ってなかなか無いんですよね。入退場自由で入場料は無料、多少騒いでも気にならない野外の演奏会は本当にありがたいなと感じています。２曲だけ聴いてそそくさと出ていってしまうのが申し訳ない思いですが、貴重な体験となりました。

続いて向かったのは広い草原エリアです。ここでは衣食住と遊びをテーマにしたマルシェが開催されていました。ただ息子はあまり食べ物や雑貨のお店などに興味を持たないんです。私はゆっくりお店を見たいのにベビーカーを止めると「早く行って！」と強い口調で急かされるため、楽しむことが出来ません。唯一息子が興味を示したのはシャボン玉体験のエリアです。前にも同じ場所でシャボン玉には目をキラキラさせていて、やはり子供受けは抜群です。今回はシャボン玉の中に白い煙を閉じ込めるパフォーマンスが行われ、内容がパワーアップしていました。白いシャボン玉を手で弾くと煙がモクモクっと出てきて消えていきます。もう周りの子供達も大騒ぎです。雨の日に外で遊べなかった分、思いっきり体を動かす1日となりました。

さて、３連休残りの2日は雨が降っていて、外遊びができませんでした。つまらなそうな息子を見て、以前そんな時は何かを作れる工作キットがいいのではないかと考え、色々インターネットで探していました。そこで私が一つ購入していたものを紹介したいと思います。今回の雨の日も息子は構わず外に行きたいと言い始めましたが、そんな時のために私が購入しておいたこの工作キットでなんとか家で過ごすことが出来ました。用意していたのはこちらの「はじめてのダンボール工作キット」です。

この製品はハサミやノリなどの道具が不要で、材料もこれ一つで全て揃っている便利なものでした。薄い段ボールに切り込みが入っていて、子供の力で簡単にくり抜きパーツを用意することが出来ます。そのパーツ同士を差し込んでいけば簡単に車が完成します。バス、パトカーや救急車など、パーツに色を塗ってアレンジすることもできます。完成した車を遊ばせるシートも付属されていて、1,2時間はこれで遊ぶことが出来ました。写真は息子が遊んだ後に撮ったため、すでにボロボロですが、こんな感じで遊ぶことが出来ます。

外が大好きな我が子、私としても自然の中で思う存分体を動かして欲しいなと思っているので、可能な限り息子の外へ行きたい！の要望には答えているつもりです。でも流石に雨の日は勘弁して欲しいので、今回みたいな家遊びの方法も充実させていきたいと思います。
