RE: I am alive challenge day #77 - Do not be quick to give up hope

Absolutely spot on @icon-bassey it is easy for people to tear ideas down so you just have to consider the sources of the hate because sometimes it is fear and lack of understanding when it comes to family and friends.

With some people it maybe jealous feelings that they can not do the same or it maybe they just don't want you to succeed for whatever reason misery loves company 🤣

Others it maybe that they just can not dream as big and have accepted their lot in life.

When people are genuine

When i got off living on the streets (rough childhood) i had a dream to start my own business.

Everyone was telling me just get a job.

I met a guy who showed me that instead of getting a job i should go into business for myself and ignore everone else.

He then taught me how?

I worked with him as an equal on his contracts, then when i was ready to do my own he helped me get set up and even provided me work when i was low on contracts.

He helped me go from hopeless to financially self sufficient in less than a year at a time i most needed it.
