Milky way
Good evening Makeup Power.
Space and galaxies are themes that fascinate me, I think I have commented on several occasions, but it really is a mystery that attracts me a lot, today I felt inspired to use my face as a canvas and recreate a galaxy with blue, white and purple tones, I was very afraid to do this makeup because I did not know if it would look good, but I decided to take the risk and trust.
My fear was that it would look like a bunch of random spots without taking the characteristic figure of a galaxy, but with patience and a lot detail it turned out pretty well, it has been a fantastic experience to do this artistic makeup and I would really like to make a similar painting to hang it on my wall, I hope you like it.
- Before starting I cleaned and moisturized my face and then started to apply glue stick on my eyebrows so I could paint on them without problems, I let dry after applying about 5 coats, I sealed with translucent powder the eyebrows and started to apply primer and foundation in the middle of the face, again I sealed with translucent powder and now it was time to apply color, I started by placing a base of dark blue and black body paint on the edges of the forehead, I mixed both colors to leave a blur between them and then I added more shades, purple, light blue and white, with a brush I started to mix all these colors leaving the center lighter and the rest darker and darker, I sealed with translucent powder and then I started to add more details, making lines of various colors around in a spiral shape.
- To create spirals with shadow I applied brown body paint, giving it more depth in certain areas, I added more details using eye shadows of different shades of blue and then with white paint and a toothbrush I made the stars, I wanted some very bright stars so I took white paint and blended it very well creating a bright aura and in the center intensifying with a dot of white paint, once my milky way was ready, I applied mascara and a black lipstick to which I put a blue highlighter and lip gloss on top.
