Exploring Ramon park in Giv'at Shmuel - 21k activity - My Actifit Report Card: April 22 2023
Hello and welcome to today's #actifit activity report¹
Today for my morning cycling trip I decided to explore the city of Giv'at Shmuel. It is located in the Center District of Israel. I was interested in exploring the newly constructed neighborhood in the heart of the city. The new modern neighborhood has tall 20 story apartment buildings, parks, shopping centers, gardens and cycling paths. It was a great pleasure cycling through modern, designed from the ground up neighborhood. It felt like the future for Israel.
I want to share with you the photos I took of the biggest park in the area, the "Ramon park". It is located in the center of the city and is named after the Israeli astronaut, Ilan Ramon who died in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. I marked the location on the map.

I found this beautiful "under the ocean" themed streetart decorating the skate ring in the park.
