Exploring Israel - 36km Cycling trip - 17k activity - My Actifit Report Card: February 18 2023
Hello and welcome to yesterday's activity report¹ ²
In the early hours of yesterday morning, I set out on my bicycle for only the second time in a long while. Given my time off the bike, I opted for a short and leisurely ride. As I pedaled along, I made a point to visit Kiriat Ono and the village of Savyon, two charming towns I had yet to explore. My route also took me past the Ramat Gan Safari, which featured a vast open space for the animals to roam free. The bike path I followed ran adjacent to the fence enclosing the Safari, offering me a unique glimpse of some incredible wildlife. To my delight, I spotted antelopes, rhinos, and hippos all enjoying their morning meal. While I was unable to capture any photos of the animals, I did snap a few shots of the beautiful cycling paths I took throughout the morning.
Cycling is a favorite pastime of mine, and I always find it to be a wonderful opportunity to practice mindfulness and gratitude. As I rode, I took in the fresh air and natural beauty around me, feeling grateful for the chance to be outdoors and moving my body. It was a truly invigorating experience that left me feeling refreshed and energized for the day ahead.
