En el día de hoy, mi novio y yo organizamos una salida al parque Nacional Henri Pittier, ubicado en la ciudad de Maracay, en el Estado Aragua de acá de Venezuela. Nos planificamos para llevar algunos aperitivos para el camino y para cuándo llegáramos al lugar. Así que salí temprano para ir a su casa, ya que el vive un poco más cerca de allí. Y el plan era irnos caminando desde su casa hasta el Henri y viceversa. Así que partí de mi casa a eso de las 6 de la mañana para que nos pudiera dar tiempo de hacer todo.
Today, my boyfriend and I organized an outing to Henri Pittier National Park, located in the city of Maracay, in Aragua State here in Venezuela. We planned to bring some snacks for the road and for when we arrived at the place. So I left early to go to his house, since he lives a little closer to there. And the plan was to walk from his house to the Henri and back. So I left my house at about 6 in the morning so that I could give us time to do everything.

Desde que salí de mi casa, el día estuvo perfecto, ya que como íbamos a estar en el río, anhelábamos que hubiese algo de sol, puesto que todos estos días han sido de fuertes lluvias que nos han impedido salir a cualquier parte, sin embargo hoy fue el día ideal. Llegué a su casa justo a las 7, así que nos colocamos a hacer la comida para llevarnos, mientras acomodábamos los bolsos que nos llevaríamos. Terminamos saliendo a eso de las 8:30 a dar nuestro gran recorrido al parque. La verdad, como hacía bastante sol, me cansaba muy rápido, ya que es la primera vez que hago este tipo de caminatas. El camino para subir al parque es muy elevado, por lo que cuesta un poco más. Lo bueno es que el agua del río es sumamente fría y llegaríamos a refrescarnos inmediatamente. Terminamos llegando al parque justamente a las 9:10, cabe destacar, que el lugar abría a esa hora, así que llegamos a la hora perfecta.
Since I left my house, the day was perfect, since we were going to be at the river, we were longing for some sunshine, since all these days have been of heavy rains that have prevented us from going out anywhere, however today was the ideal day. I arrived at her house right at 7 o'clock, so we set about making lunch to take with us, while we arranged the bags we would be taking with us. We ended up leaving around 8:30 to take our grand tour of the park. Truth be told, since it was pretty sunny, I was getting tired pretty quickly, since this is the first time I've done this kind of hike. The road up to the park is very high, so it costs a bit more. The good thing is that the river water is extremely cold and we would get to cool off immediately. We ended up arriving at the park just at 9:10, it is worth mentioning that the place opened at that time, so we arrived at the perfect time.

Al llegar, lo primero que hicimos fue desayunar, ya que teníamos mucha hambre, y después de todo ese camino, pues era inevitable. Después de comer, conseguimos las aguas termales que son populares en este lugar, así que decidimos meternos allí un buen rato. Incluso mientras estábamos allí, conocimos a una familia que venia de Táchira visitando esta zona de aca. Lo cual nos pareció muy agradable, sinceramente. Así que también compartimos un rato con ellos, riendo y hablando de todo un poco. Luego de eso, nos fuimos a los pozos donde el agua estaba bastante fría, pero ahí logré refrescarme mucho más, a pesar de que a mi novio no le guste mucho. Aprovechamos y nos dimos un baño rápido para regresarnos a casa, ya era casi de medio día por lo que teníamos que hacer el almuerzo. De bajada también fue caminando, sin embargo, era mucho más calmado ya que era cuesta abajo y así no me cansaba tanto. Sinceramente lo disfrutamos mucho, llegamos a casa refrescados y felices de haber pasado un bonito día, esperamos seguir haciendo recorridos así. Este fue todo mi post, espero que les haya gustado. Upon arrival, the first thing we did was to have breakfast, since we were very hungry, and after all that way, it was inevitable. After eating, we got to the hot springs that are popular in this place, so we decided to soak there for a while. Even while we were there, we met a family coming from Táchira visiting this area. Which we found very nice, honestly. So we also shared some time with them, laughing and talking about everything a little bit. After that, we went to the wells where the water was quite cold, but there I managed to cool off a lot more, even though my boyfriend doesn't like it very much. We took advantage and had a quick swim to go back home, it was almost noon so we had to make lunch. On the way down it was also walking, however, it was much calmer since it was downhill and so I didn't get so tired. Sincerely we enjoyed it a lot, we arrived home refreshed and happy to have spent a nice day, we hope to continue doing tours like this. This was all my post, hope you liked it. Greetings🤍
