Early morning walk in Dresden / ドレスデン早朝散歩 (My Actifit Report Card: July 12 2024)

Due to my partner's work, we stayed in Dresden, the capital of Saxony, yesterday through today. Even with the hotel's blackout curtains, I was up early as usual this time of year and went for an early morning walk while my family was still sleeping. It was quite a luxurious early morning walk, with a view of Dresden's historic buildings all to myself.

After walking, I took my daughter to swim in the pool and swam after a while. I was so exhausted that I took two naps. It's nice to have a summer vacation day like this, isn't it?

The hot days continue, but I hope everyone has a good weekend!

相方の仕事で昨日から今日にかけてザクセン州の州都のドレスデンに滞在しました。ホテルの遮光カーテンがあっても、この時期の私の早起きはいつも通りで、早朝まだ家族が寝ている中、散歩に出かけました。ドレスデンの歴史的な建造物の眺めを独り占めして、なんとも贅沢な早朝の散歩になりました。京都にいたときには、観光客が押しかける前の朝の哲学の道で散歩を楽しんだのが懐かしいです。

今日は歩いたあとに、子供の水泳の練習につきあって久しぶりにプールで泳いでへとへとで、二回も昼寝をしました。こんな夏休みな1日もいいですよね。
