My Actifit Report Card: October 8 2024

I’ve recently picked up cycling to do HIIT (high intensity interval training) and it’s been great. I’ve actually noticed my VO2 improve through my watch over the past month which has been incredible.

I had been mainly walking for exercise as I nursed myself back from injury, but thankfully I’ve been in a much better position recently and have started running and doing sprints as well. I prefer cycling as it’s lower impact but I’ve enjoyed doing more with the running club.

Maybe it’s just the social element but anything that gets you up and moving is good, right?

I don't have access to a gym or equipment right now, but I absolutely love going HAM on the rowing machine. Another great low impact, full body cardio workout machine, it really rewards you for good form, while pushing and pulling at varying pace and power.

Rowing machine is great but I've never been able to do it consistently. I do have one available to me so maybe I should give it a try!

Great job exercising, I have been falling behind on my 3-times a week routine of working out in my garage and walks. Need to resume those.
