My Actifit Report Card: August 4 2023

Did my walk through a local forest preserve yesterday that had a small river running through it and ran into these little guys. There were people feeding them which is why they all grouped together near the shoreline. Super cute but a little aggressive trying to come and take the food!

I’ve been enjoying doing more exercise/walking outdoors even with the extreme heat. Something about getting the sunshine and fresh air feels very energizing and I find myself highly motivated after coming back home.

I’ll continue to explore more outdoor places to walk although I’ll admit my area isn’t as naturally beautiful or scenic as other spots I’ve lived in. You get what you get though so we’ll make do!

Just look at those turtles. I'm trying to imagine turtles as aggressive animals, it just doesn't seem to correlate.

How hot is it over there?

Haha when I say aggressive I meant they were climbing up the shore to get closer rather than being scared of humans. 105 F / 40 C
