Wheeler throws a gem as the Phillies defeat the Twins / Getting traded to the Biscuits A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 9

Zack Wheeler threw seven outstanding innings of baseball for the Phillies. Zero earned runs, and just looked very much in the zone after his mild injury. Seems like the rest really benefited him. Wheeler officially passed 1,500 career innings pitched in this one! The bullpen really came through even when things got SUPER dicey in the eighth and the Twins had the bases loaded.

Offensively, the Phils looked fairly rough. There were some baserunning errors at times which did not help much. Eventually the grinded for, and squeaked out a run in the top of the ninth! Brandon Marsh had a great sac fly to break the 0-0 tie. Then the steady Nick Castellanos added to extra security run with a big double. Pretty clutch ninth inning, wish it didn't take that long but, they got it done! Pretty impressive honestly. Twins are a good team.

I was mildly struggling, and I insisted to stay being a shortstop, next thing I know I get friggin' TRADED. I was surprised LOL, so funny honestly. A.D. Hammer is now a Montgomery Biscuit. Wild! I hope to get back to the Phillies one day, and the Athletics as well.
